The show started off amazing, and very interesting, but around ep 8 or 9, it started to go downhill. And yes this was before they switched to South Korea. Okay I sort of understand why people rated it 9.1 but at the same time I don't. At first it was excellent, then stated to have many flaws that I couldn't look past at.

STORY
the story was a captivating idea. The love interest was interesting. And I enjoyed the couple, however, I wasn't really emotionally attached to any of the characters. Both leads were amazing, and so was the rest of the characters. But I didn't really get into their chemistry. It was THERE, I wasn't emotionally connected to it if that makes sense. Maybe because this is my first time watching them

THE ABSURD STORYLINE OF DEATH
Both characters have faced death like how many times????? A lottttt..... At one point hey are about to die, then they come back to life, then the same thing happens again, they don't die, they face death again, then they don't ie again.

UNBELIEVABLE ROMANCE
If you really love someone, and you see them after such a long time, are you just gonna stand there? I understand you might be shocked. But are you just gonna give them a hug?It doesn't make sense to me. I wanted so much more from the romance.

RIDICULOUS SECOND CHARACTER LOVE STORY
Everybody seems to be in love with the second leads storyline. And I'm still wondering what people see in those two? I felt nothing from them. Their storyline is ridiculous. The girl is an unlikable character, the boy is not bad, I actually liked him. But I don't really understand how they "fell in love" I actually thought a love story between him and Se-ri was more interesting

THE ENDING
I can't even find the words to describe the ending. Just totally terrible

OVERALL
Disappointing kdrama, started off good, ended up meh! Thank goodness I'm done watching it! Don't think I'll ever watch again. Not sure if i would recommend it, but be prepared! And I don't think anything in this drama will stick with me.

Why did I give this a 7? It actually wasn't bad, it was pretty good except for the romance , we'll get to that
STORY
Im not a fan of games or stuff like that, but how they portrayed the whole gaming this was pretty good, cause I dint find it boring. So its pretty decent. Now lets get to the romance. I have a few words. WHAT IN THE WORLD??? I love the two leads together but seriously? like come on? they could have developed the "non existent" romance between them. Last few episode, my reaction was wat...? Hold up since when do they even like each other? The pacing of the so called "romance" was completely ridiculous I'm not sure what they were trying to achieve by doing this. Now Im not even gonna complain much about that ending cause I mean didn't we all know that was gonna happen. I like how they showed the whole sibling thingy. And the fact that the CEO actually has tears! I wish they did more on the comedy tho, it would have been better.
ACTING/ CAST
Male lead: I watched this only cause of him. His character was great! AND OH BOY the way he talks? No, the way he runs??? Its too funny
Female lead: How do you guys even like her? She was so annoying and rude! Especially to the CEO. But I guess she became nicer at the end? Honestly, there wasn't that much of a character development on her
2nd Female lead: Umm... Should I drag her or sympathize with her??I honestly don't know She was so clingy, and acted as if the CEO was the only guy in the world, she just made her self look pathetic. And then she knows that he doesn't like her but still chooses to ignore that? So isn't that her fault? And then in the end, she suddenly changed? It wasn't convincing enough for me.
2ND Male Lead: WHAT WAS EVEN THE POINT OF HIM BEING IN THE SHOW??? Seriously he didn't do anything. He was so irrelevant. Like is this a joke. Lol what a waste!

RE-WATCH VALUE
I've only ever re-watched three shows, so yea this is a no. Not because its boring, but because it just doesn't have my heart
OVERALL
Its not a bad drama as everybody puts it. I guess it depends on tho if u like lightweight dramas. If they did more on "romance" I'd give this a 8

GOOD, DESERVING OF PRAISE BUT NOT THAT MUCH

I really don't know how to even write a review for this drama. The first half of the show was amazing, suspicious, tense ish,. The second half of the show was just.... absolute disappointment
The only reason I didn't drop it was for the main lead and just to see how it will end

OUTFITS
I loved the female lead's outfits, some of them. Some of her outfits were outrageous terrible. But anyways she's got good charisma and was lowkey giving me female lead from graceful family type vibes

STORY
Story was interesting at the first few episodes then the story just poofed into the air. Most dissapointing thing in the show was the mother. There was no background or motive for her mother acting like and killing for the most petty reason ever. It's quite unbelievable but on a good note the first episodes were really good and made you wonder what happened

CASTING/ACTING
I loved all the cast. It was perfect. Male lead can really cry but other than that nothing impressive. The brother was such as a sweetheart but lowkey annoying at the same time. His character was done beyond perfection

CHARACTERS
Loved all the characters. male lead was really bugging me sometimes but i love him despite. The female assistant is so damn cuteeeee. And the girl that has a crush on male lead is quite pathetic but that's just my brutal opinion

MUSIC
I dont remember anything so... idk

REWATCH VALUE
I will probably never watch this again cause the show got really tiring but anyways I never end up re watching a lot of kdramas

OVERALL
It was okay. First half gets a 8.5. Second half gets a -2.5

meh... not really much but its cute

Big props to the careers of the main character. An athlete and a translator never heard of that one in a kdrama

Story line is non existent. Let me word that, if you are into lovey dovey cute shows then watch this, its more chance of you liking it. But if you like something more on the serious side with drama and conflict, this isn't really the one. So it all depends on your liking.
I'm going to keep watching just to see where its heading

CASTING/ACTING
Acting is good but I'm conflicted on the main boy. He reminds me of the main character from My Id Is Gangnam beauty. He has only one facial expression unless he is drunk. So I'm not sure if that's how his character is supposed to be. Otherwise looking at him is hilarious cause his face just screams "i dont care"

I WILL UPDATE WHEN I FINISH! BUT ITS WORTH IT TO GIVE IT A TRY

ONE OF THE FEW KDRAMAS THAT CAN EASILY GET A 10

Goblin is just everything you want in a kdrama. You probably read all the amazing reviews about how beautiful it is so I;m not going to repeat anything.
Goblin is a 10 for sure and just kinda perfect but also at the same time I had my few opinions.
And here they are

AGE DIFFERENCE (very controverial)

- The age difference is a little weird... but the romance is too beautiful and tragic to even look at that. I highly disagree with people who think they had no chemistry and instead had a father-daughter relationship. Ar first I was highly weird out and disgusted by the age difference but I looked over it and you will to. Hopefully. What's more weird is the fact that Gong Yoo looks 40 10 years ago and today's time as well. Koreans are usualy younger looking so I didn't expect him to look that old for a korean but hey not every korean is younger looking and so representation matters lol

SECOND COUPLE
- Second couple didn't really grow on me. It was just there... I would have loved it if the gream reaper and goblin fell for the same girl. Now how controversial and conflicting is that! However that would ruin the bromance and I refuse to sacrifice the most amazing bromance in the history of kdrama for that thought.

MUSIC
THE BESTTTTTTTTTTTTT. THE BEST OST EVERRRRRRRR
ITS BEYOND BEAUTIFULLLLLL
I LOVE THE OPENING SONG AND STAY WITH ME
the opening song lyrics make no sense tho lol

GOBLIN DESERVES ALL THE HYPE! AND THATS ON PERIOD!
