This is another movie which I regretted not reading reviews before watching. Reading the synopsis did not prepare me enough for it. I watched because of Jang Dong Gun and Lee Jong Suk. Expecting more of the political plot and the difficult process of catching the psycho in detail but after watching can't seem to shake the psycho look/actions out of LJS and can't bear watching his dramas/movies now without thinking of him in this role - that's how good he is at portraying this sick character.
On a side note, if you're into this type of gory thriller, you may be interested to watch an old Korean movie "I Saw The Devil". I watched this then because of Lee Byung Hun. The only thing I'm glad of is, he did not play the role of the psychopath in this movie.
Both movies shows how sick a human can be in mind and action and doubt I'll ever re-watch because it's too disturbing and you can't unsee what you've seen. The senseless violence and brutality of it may remain in your mind for a long while.

A True Gem

With only 16 episodes like Kdrama, this drama packs everything I love without any second to waste.
Happy Ending - the couples all end up happily including even the cats
No Villains - with the exception of FL's jerk of an ex and his hateful mum, none are irredeemably bad characters
FL - One of the best character I've come across and perfect in my eyes. Gentle yet firm and rational when decisions needs to be made. Handles work crisis so effectively targeting win-win situations rather than by ruthlessness and sees the strength in others. Cooks so well and has such a sweet temperament I'd want her as a wife too. To me, her love and priority for family which others see as a weakness and makes her emotionally unstable is what gave her strength and persistence. She could out-talk the ML and give him a run for his $.
ML - due to his childhood and the traumatic incident which happened to him at eight, it made him cold and unfeeling. But I do not feel his character repulsive because he is only ruthless to those whom he feel is incompetent yet he acknowledges FL's capability, is not intimidated by it and trusted her ability to do more. This is the type of ML character that is logical for FL to develop feelings for, not some mean, domineering guy that belittles FL's effort or put her down in front of others like another drama I dropped.
Without the need to drag the drama longer, we can still feel the chemistry of the couples, the strong bond between FL and her best friend, the close relationship between uncle and nephew, the cute antics of the actress and the Director, the character growth of a few of FL's colleagues - in fact, all scenes with supporting casts were memorable and do not come across as fillers.
This drama is definitely on my re-watch list.
Do watch the bonus episode though I've yet to find it subbed - https://youtu.be/35JaUmN5IcQ. Not sure why it's not included with playlist of the drama at MangoTv's channel.

I nearly dropped this drama during the first few episodes as the male lead's character wasn't likeable at all, female lead is just a real strong dummy and the unbelieavably worst mother in a drama.
Continued watching only for the side characters i.e genius girl and xiao fei until the male lead start redeeming himself. I understand he's supposed to be a ruthless businessman but his character wasn't very endearing in the beginning.
Ending seems a bit rushed and doesn't show the villains being punished or what really motivates them to do hateful things. From the senior who changes interest from one to another to the uncle who for some perverse reason just likes being an obnoxious ass and a mother with crazy jealousy and hatred. Nevertheless, I'm surprised the drama kept me watching from beginning till the end.

Tried watching as so many were saying how good it was. Dropped a few times after 2-3 episodes (fast forwarding flashbacks etc..) and tried picking up again only to drop it as the storyline seems repetitious and draggy.
Thought the e-sports would be as interesting as in King's Avatar or Love O2O but sadly not much on the e-sports game they're playing except the fact that it has got to do with security and hacking.
Character wise it seems over the top for the female lead to be so obsessed with the male lead after the first time seeing him despite him going around looking like an angry emo boy most of the time. And can never understand the clothes she's wearing. Show is trying too hard to show she's a much younger girl than the male lead.
May be interesting to others but definitely not my cup of tea.
