Horrible. PSJ is amazing overall but his character in this series is a complete nauseating jerk. I'm baffled as to why this has such a high rating. The main FL lines are all made up of "de?" What is wrong with this writer? Can a female character stand.upbfor herself? Regardless of her circumstances, there's reason for the indignity she has to suffer. The fact that the ML has trauma of his own is no excuse. Two Hallyu stars could not save this production. I hated the drama when I was finished but decided to wait a few weeks before I wrote review. I still stand by my originalassessment.

Suprisingly sweet drama with a refreshing take on rom com!

The beauty of this drama for me was the romantic subplot between Seo Dan and Lee Young. That was pure FIRE! Their chemistry and banter were just amazing. I also love the rendering qualities of the main lead. He played the naive, innocent, and Asperger-y character to perfections! I'm also glad I waited for all of the episodes to come out before I continued. I was watching it when it began but around episode 4 I got bored. Slice of life drama is better binged watched than waiting every week for 2 episodes. I wasn't expecting much from this drama but dare I say that it was a nice surprise to have it be a solid, well-acted, and refreshing take on the room com K drama section. 2020 and 2021 have not been the kindest when it came to fun, watchable, exciting K dramas and though I wouldn't call this exciting, it definitely delivers in the fun and watchable!

I recently became enamored and obsessed with K Dramas. This was the 4th drama I have watched and it's a tie for my favorite spot along with Strong Girl Do Bo Song! I loved the chemistry between the two actors, it helps that they're both out of this world beautiful. I found the story sweet, funny and magical. People complaining were probably expecting something more serious. With all that's going on in this world, I love having something that could suspend my belief and has a beautiful ending.
Since I live for fashion, I also wanted to highlight how the stylists did an amazing job with the wardrobe. The whimsical notes to the fashion were such a lovely accompaniment to the storyline.

The friendship between the leads is the highlight!

The first half of this series is solid. You will be automatically engrossed in in the lives of the characters by the second episode. My favorite character is Eun-jung. Her story was both heartbreaking and uplifting and the actress played her brilliantly. I wish she had more screentime than the main lead female who plays a writer. Although I enjoyed the main lead at the begining, by the end I found her annoying and the conversations she had with the 'director' were too philosophical and at times nonsensical. Maybe if I knew Korean I would understand better. The gist is that by the end they both aggravated me. I think the drama is slightly overrated here in MDL.
