Overrated !!!!
This is a typical overrated series, the opening of the drama was great but as it goes on the story line becomes vague... the initial 3 episode was great but after that it was too bad, i would have dropped it if not for those hype given for this drama. At first I thought it would get better eventually but it was boring.Both the leads are typically my favorite but even then I couldn’t complete it without skipping the boring parts. The story line could have been better.
Girl loves the guy, the guy it too busy with his affairs to realize it... but when the guy loves the girl she is afraid and runs away.... it was a literal time waste.
The drama does not proceed it a normal genre it was confusing as it was arranged marriage then hacking then it involves living in a rural area then there is sickness....... the story was like constantly changing which was not pleasant to watch.
And its just my personal opinion

Progress of the show was poor!!
The story line matches the concept of a regular hate to love drama. But the progress of the story was very disappointing. To make the FL look like a innocent and a cute school girl they have made her role really dumb which was a bit annoying. All the actors in the series have done their part well but the character of the female lead is disappointing.Second pair was awesome, I personally liked their chemistry. The character of Tai and Soun was good(siblings of the leads). It would have been great if they shared more screen time.
As usual the step-mother and obsessive friend were very very annoying i literally skipped their parts
Weir was great as usual!!!
The father-daughter duo was great....
The series would have been great if the FL was little more sensible and the step-mother and obsessive friend characters are a little less annoying,

Top notch bromance !!!!!!1
Hua Wu Que and Xiao Yu are non-identical twins separated twins. Hua Wu Que is manipurated by his masters that xiao yu is their enemy and he has to kill him personally.The main story line was pretty good however it was less interesting in the middle I would have dropped the series if xiao yu was not this cute!!!!!!!!!!
The chemistry between the leads was not that great however it cam be compensated by the bromance within the male lead. Xiao yu was very charming, clever and cute whereas Hua Wu Que is handsome, powerful and strong.
You can watch this series for the male leads both are great actors and have done their best in their roles.

A pleasant drama to watch
First of all I was a bit hesitant to watch a republic era drama but it turned out to be so good. The bromance between the leads were too pleasing. It was fun watching the leads fight. Lu yao’s money love was the most exciting factor in this drama. If you watch to watch a detective and mystery drama with a mild romance and an amazing friendship its definitely your cup of tea!!!I particularly feel that it would have been even better if the romance progressed a little earlier..
But the whole war situation for protecting a single person seemed so dramatic.
