THE BEST JAPANESE DRAMA EVER!!

I won't spoil the story because I don't want to ruin it if you haven't watch this yet.

To be honest, I had't seen any Japanese dramas recently, but some of my friends were really into this drama, so I decided to give it a try.
I watched Ep.1, then binge-watched up to the most recent episode. it's great, It's amazing, the whole story made me thrilled and excited. I was really curious what’s going to happen next, what happened the day Tsubaki's father was killed, and whether Tsubaki and Nao will be together or not.
This is a bit fast-paced drama, but neither too fast-paced nor too slow-paced. Some casts might be overacting, but most casts did a great job and match with the vibe.
The props such as kimino (Japanese robe) and wagashi (Japanese confectionery) were absolutely exquisite. This is not a historical drama, but we can also enjoy scenery full of quaint atmosphere.

Overall, the series is definitely worth a watch. Great cast, great story line, great music. If you are thinking about whether to watch this, just try it! I guarantee you'll never get boring, rather will have a serious craving for wagashi.

here kimino and wagashi pics :)

No...

The reason I decided to watch the drama is the casts; Mark(Love by Chance and The Stranded), Boun(Until We Meet Again) and Praew(Hormones 3). However, Boun died Ep.2 and then Praew died Ep.3, so I kept watching only for Mark. Without him, I think I must have dropped for sure.

At the first few episodes, the story made me thrilled and excited. I was curious what’s going to happen next, even though I knew I won’t be able to see Boun and Praew anymore. The bully scene at Ep.1 was really cruel, and there are also lots of creepy and scary scenes in this drama. But I think it’s ok because the concept of this drama needs like these scenes.

What disappointed me was the latter half of the storyline. Suddenly, it went too fast, especially at Ep.8(the last episode), and some of the scenes didn’t make sense at all. Some scenes continued too long without changing sets which was kinda boring to me. And Kaownah...where had you gone? He should have be given more time to appear.

But setting that all aside, all of the cast really did a great job, that just sucked me in. And I love the opening theme tune, it matches the story.

(Sorry for my poor English TT)

A Real Masterpiece in 2021

Unfortunately, but to be honest, I feel like Thai TV series tends to have the same affair-themed script. But Nadao Bangkok always continues trying to create new series, such as Hormones The Series and In Family We Trust (besides 9x9). It must be really difficult for sure, but they made it again. Storyline, cinematography, and acting were superb, they all really did a great job.

I didn’t expected vertical shot worked like that. Especially Ep.1-4 were really awesome. After watching Ep.4, I felt like rewatching 4 episodes all at once. (I'm not the only one who thought like that, am I?)

Captain and Praew are my favorite actors. Captain has a wide range of acting and I once again realized he really has. Praew also played her role greatly just as I had expected. I think this role was suited to her perfectly. As for Violette, I saw her acting for the first time though, her acting was really good. Now I’m in love with her voice:) But I think the best actor in this series must be Oab. His acting was top notch and gave me chills.

At first I thought it’s thrilling and unrealistic, but then realized it has many themes such as strong friendship, jealousy, desire, and impulse, which made me feel like it might be real, not a fake. If you are fan of Nadao Bangkok, you should watch this. Even if you are not a fan or haven’t watched their series yet, just give it a try! Anyway this is a short series, and I’m sure it won’t waste your time:)

Good movie inspired by one of the biggest cold cases

This story is about Glico Morinaga Jiken, which is one of the biggest cold cases happened in 1980s.

This unsolved case has a lot of mysteries.
・The first incident was kidnapping. A president of a large food company was kidnapped all of a sudden and culprits demanded a huge ransom, but he managed to escape three days later.
・After this incident, many food companies received blackmail, demeaning huge money and threatening food poisoning, fortunately no one became sick or dead though.
・Culprits used at least 3 children’s voice for threatening, one of them were estimated 10 years old or so.
・One member of the guilty party was seen by police twice, nevertheless, police failed to catch him.
・At last culprits didn’t get a penny.
This movie gave one hypothesis about who the culprits were and what they would have wanted was, based on these mysteries.

Some scenes were a bit cheesy or easily predictable. Most of all actors in this movie speak Kansai dialect, but some of them had weird accent. ———But story itself was really interesting and I like this.
