The story is something you will look forward to. At some point this drama was able to make you experience the emotion they were trying to portray. It's a martial arts themed series but it didn't fail to give you bits of pain, love, loyalty, friendship, family and humor too. Camera work to showcase wushu is also good as it should be. And although the story focuses on Huo's life challenges, you will also appreciate the different encounters and the value of each significant characters. Not to mention that from beginning to end, it's impossible not to admire the beauty and dignity of Huo's wife. :)

Plus I also enjoyed listening to the opening soundtrack.

To describe the whole series, it's "Simple yet VERY entertaining." I really enjoyed watching each episode. If you are looking for a light hearted drama this is the best that I could recommend. It's fun to watch and with a bits of scenes showing how interesting Chinese cuisine is. I also love how the character of the two leads develop and mature and just how they were able to perfectly add the humor in it. You can also feel the chemistry between the two leads not to mention their age gap but they were able to handle that well! You'll end up wishing and yearning to see more of the sweetness but unlike the typical romance drama, their love story somehow portrays much of simplicity and practicality. That although how immature the character of the male lead was at first, you'll see he's a gentleman after all.

The story will really bring you into your curiosity. There are various events that would made you ask "why/how" with an exclamation point! At those times I wish I could binge watch this but can't (been waiting patiently for subtitles ). There are various flashbacks happening that might be confusing at the beginning or might be, yes, annoying at some point. But I believe if you feel like wanting to solve what is, then you certainly would not want to miss a detail that might be a hint to whatever the mystery is. You'll bear with it and will get used to it as the story goes.

This last point that I will mention doesn't really affect the plot that much. On a technical side, there's a CGI in episode 1 or 2 (can't remember exactly on which episode it happened) where you will feel like.. 'just when everything is getting better, here comes this scene that would made you say that, they should have made the CGI better.'

First reason why I watched this is because of the two leads. For the review, the 1st scene of Episode 1 is a bit boring for me. But don't worry that doesn't last long because getting deep into the female lead's monologue is a plus point. Those type of lines are worth it to listen. The next scene is something to look forward to. This is part of a number of interesting scenes that caught my interest. In Ep1&2,there are cameos and bits of scenes that will make you reminisce a recent story you're familiar with, a story that might even touched your heart then. You'll know what I am referring to when you already watched CLOY and The Player. That adds up the excitement and makes the drama more relatable to viewers at some point. Big factor however is the strange but not so strange relationship development between the two leads. It's not rushed and awkward. The scenes are scalating just right giving us time to appreciate how different the two leads are at the same time let's us see their connection and similarities. The excitement we get as viewers every time they meet is... (I don't know the exact word to describe it but there is that feeling you'll know when you watch it)! Also not to mention the humor this drama offers.

For the music, I ranked it seven for now. I know the OST is not bad but can't recall a memorable melody just yet compare to other dramas where you get hooked by the soundtrack right on the 1st episode. A few popular music however was featured.

For the 4 episodes so far, it's definitely worth watching. I will continue supporting this drama and see how it wraps up and I hope it wraps up great.
