Chaotic and hilarious . Loved every bit of it
Enemies to lovers is my favourite romance trope. Something about characters who don’t like each other and fall in love makes me soo excited. And this drama has the chaos, conflict and push & pull that i love to watch in a romcom. If a romcom is all lovey dovey and there is no chaos and tension then it’s boring for me. Although last episodes weren’t as chaotic as the beginning ones but fair enough as there needs to be romance too.The female lead is cold hearted yet flirty and playful at the same time. Mostly kdramas show cold hearted characters who easily melt and i feel
like this is not the true depiction of a cold hearted personality but Mi-ran perfectly depicts cold hearted character with trust issues. She is effortlessly chill like that. It was soo fun watching her beat the male lead and reject guys.
Kang ho doesn’t trust women and is not a typical gentleman. I fell for him without even realising. He starts off as mean and narcissistic but is actually a sweetheart and charming. His expressions are soo funny for some reason. And I keep repeating the moment in my head when he termed their kiss as fan service. It was hilarious. I loved all the encounters between Mi ran and Kang ho, from she tripping him to their first kiss. I died laughing and giggling. Absolutely enjoyed each and every moment of this drama. And finally some steamy romance scenes that we don’t usually get to see in kdramas.
And how can I forget to mention hottie Mr.Do won joon. I want to keep him to myself if i could. I didn’t even know i like long hair on guys until I saw him. He’s soooooo dreamy. Him ending up with miran’s friend was bit unexpected and I would’ve liked it better if he had stayed a playboy.
Shout out to gilmu’s law firm guys as I thought they will be mean to Mi ran as she is the first female lawyer in their firm but they all were welcoming to her and also shout out to her ex who cleared her image in the end.
