Well, in compare to the older version, which was so super mega draggy that it drowned down even the few good bits, this certainly feels shorter. I mean it't the same big number of episodes but they are shorter runtime definitely (like 45 minutes, instead of 2 hours). The main two are back from the island soon. Previous version had them there longer and then they were constantly on the run through a jungle for like almost forever. For me, there was not much in the story, as I watched it already. But, I was satisfied with the main guy, of course:) Not one bit less cute than young Ken Theeradeth, I am able to watch Toni Rakkaen no matter how draggy it gets, because he's is the kind of a guy that when you look into his eyes, you forget about the world around you. So even if the island story is gone after like epi 5 of 20, I had no problem to keep watching his long string of misunderstandings with the main girl, who is portrayed by Pat Chayanit, his partner from several previous lakorns. She is pretty just like the next girl so when she is treated like a supermodel while there are equally pretty girls all around her it looks a bit constructed but it doesn't really matter. Also her mother here is portrayed by Namfon Sueangsuda which is always a treat but I got tired with the mother plot in the previous version already so sadly I rather skipped her in this. At 1/2 of the lakorn I lost overall interest and mostly fastforwarded to Pat & Toni scenes only. I had one only hope here which was Pat Chayanit worked with Toni Rakkaen so many times already that filming real kiss should not be a problem. Episode 11/20, it happens. Propelled by some misunderstanding, of course:) It's morelike the press kind of kiss, it's better than nothing but he kisses her like that 3x in the row and somehow it's not really exciting:) It's even followed by female initiated kiss. You know, I've seen MANY lakorns. I reached the stage where I question whether all the stupidity & boredom is worth it. There were 9 episodes still remaining, and I wondered whether I had already watched the best bits this show had to offer. Because then it would be better to drop it. Just the amount of the time saved!:)
Boy Pidsanu is well watchable in his bad boy role. Still I had the feeling that in epi 11 I've watched all the drama involved, I didn't have to see the progress to the very end. It felt like I've already watched it anyways.
