Need a second season
The story is nothing extraordinary, but well executed. The actors have done a very good job. The male leads have really good chemistry that is shot through the roof in the last episodes.The female leads/ supports have actual contribution in the story and not annoying characters who only bates their eyes and create nothing but trouble. They are kind of badasses too. There are hints of romance but nothing that derails the feel and flow of the story.
As the series progresses, it goes on becoming more interesting. There are scenes in a few episodes that I fast forwarded and missed nothing, but overall, it is engaging. Even with a cliche mystery, it actually have a good ending.
And the series actually gives hint of a following season at the end of the last episode and I hope they make it soon.

It was like an hour-long teaser video
The opening music is great. The male leads are pleasing to look at & their chemistry looked promising. Even the acting is relatively good. But, the story! Who wrote this script? What was the point of the story? I mean the baseline of the story really had potential to do more, much more. It felt like it ended before the story even started! And while watching it, I felt like they have converted an anime directly into live setting & characters! I don't know why!!Somebody please make a sequel with an actual storyline with a serious plot! It would be really good!

A feel good slice of life with a side of futuristic science
I watched it because I really like the idea of friendship between human and humanoid robots. And I wasn't really disappointed. The story is nothing extraordinary but it is entertaining nonetheless.The cast is good looking and they acted well as I could see it. The relationship among the main characters , specially between the male leads is nice to watch. And although it's a short drama, it was good to see the lead character growing in that short span of time.
It's a drama you can watch when you don't want to use your brain too hard watching layers of plot unraveling and just want to feel good on a lazy afternoon before going to take a nap. I will probably not even gonna remember this drama let alone rewatch it. But, I did not get bored once and was rather engaged while I was watching.

A soothing salve on a gloomy day!
This show lightened my heart up. Most of the times while watching it I couldn't stop smiling.The story would have been the most ordinary kind of romance story had it not been a same sex romance. But that's where it did a good job; portraying a homosexual relationship like it is the most normal thing on the earth.
Honestly the story is like written by an intelligent 8th grader( that age when one start craving for romance and fluffy stuff in life!)if that 8th grader was properly educated on sexuality & acceptance.
The actors have compatible chemistry and are really pleasant to the eyes. The comedies are well placed and actually funny! No angst , no violence, no darkness...a great watch on a lazy evening when you want to watch a feel good boy-love and relax!!

Gets better with each episode
Of all the adaptatios, this one has the best looking cast overall. Of course the acting was as good too. The 1st few episodes needs a bit effort to get through, but then it hooks you in all the way to the last episode. This Wu Xie is clever, decisive, does most on his own and does not need much saving. It has all the mysteries and actions that is expected in a DMBZ adaption.Fatty was really so hilIarious in some scenes that O had to literally pause to laugh out loud for next 5 ninutes. It was a good watch. But I will probably not watch it again. And that cliffhanger at the end... !!!!

A hidden gem : Totally underrated
Well, This is based on only upto ep17. This drama is still airing as of today 19 Mar 2020 and the slowwwww subbing made it really hard to watch it. But I have to say it is worth the wait & far more better than my initial expectations.The main thing that is holding this drama up is the chemistry between the main leads. The two main actors have outstanding acting skills along with equally great looks and have really made their respective characters thrive on screen. When they are on screen , you cannot take your eyes off even for a second because firstly, it is really pleasant to watch them ; and secondly, they talk to each other with their eyes and many other subtle gestures in many scenes, which cannot be missed if one has to understand the drama better!
The story is nothing extraordinary but not too cliché either. It doesn't get boring and if I had the whole drama with english subtitles, I am sure I wouldn't put it down till the end.
There are another pair of male friends who for some reason do not interest me much as a pair, but individually their characters have depths and backstories to be unfolded which keeps it engaging to watch them too. Other supporting characters include two females, who doesn't feel unnecessary to the story and have their own contributions in getting the show going.
The drama has very well timed and much needed humour also which actually made me laugh.
Overall, I am enjoying this very much and I will binge-rewatch it after it finishes airing and the subbing is complete.

Would have been better if it was a TV series!
What a cliché! - this is what came to my mind several times while watching this. The story feels like it was not written for a movie! But was one episode of a multiepisode drama! There was no time to explore or get atteched to anything! I did not really get what genre the story wanted to conform to..The friendship between the main leads was sweet but so rushed that you cannot feel the chemistry! Also I could predict exactly what was going to happen! Well, it's not like there was some mystery to begin with..and right when I got a little interested, it ended!Great actors, bad story.
If it was a several episode longer TV drama with a string of different cases like the one in the movie, it would have been a hell lot interesting.

Made me smile
The people who wrote this script, a big salute to them. A slice of life love story without going overboard in any aspect - no cringe moment, no lasting sadness, no dramatic angst, no "how does that makes sense! " moment. They portrated it quite realistically - the romance feels a bit rushed , but I have seen romance happening faster in real life! The story was quite fitting for a short drama and really heartwarming at moments. I have not seen the actors before but there couldn't have been any better ones for the lead roles. Their acting and chemistry felt so natural, and when I finished watching it, I smiled for no reason for several hours after . Good one.Was this review helpful to you?

An Absolute delight!
I started watching this at 3 am in the morning, I was heaviky sleep riddled but I couldn't put it down. And when it ended - the first thought that came to my hazy mind was - "ah! That was a not-so-bad love story! " before I remembered with a jolt that- "Oh , neither of the two leads was a woman! "This movie is a story of how a great friendship came to be forged between two individuals who has opposite personalities & principles; Yeah. It felt like watching a fantasy action movie with magic & romance ! If any of the two main leads were a woman, it would be a such a cliché but still somewhat enjoyable love story !! No, I am not talking about the romance between 2 supporting characters that is a part of the plotline. The side stories and characters are overwhelmingly shadowed by the main pair.
The two MLs are the driving force of this movie. They are excellent actors, very much pleasant to the eye and have great chemistry. I can safely go as far as to say that these two could be the only characters in these movie or the story could be a dumb disaster & this movie would still be equally enjoyable! It is fun just watching them interacting! The scenes where these two are not on screen feels unnecessary! Fortunately, they are on screen most of the time and never once it gets boring watching them. There are quite a few scenes with good humor that made me laugh out loud.
I am going to rewatch it.For one, If I am feeling down someday, I will watch it to light up my mood.
