Refreshingly different revenge drama

I was getting so bored of the same revenge storyline dramas so I was not too optimistic when I started this one. But I’m glad I did. This was a revenge drama done right. There was nothing overly excessive about it.... it was just done right. I loved the fact that the female lead was such a strong one. I loved that they finally showed a ML who didn’t shy away from his feelings... who was portrayed as being sensitive, caring from the get go. Bank played his role beautifully...he was a natural. I’m so glad it want the usual slap/kiss revenge dramas with a lot of hate and mistrust. Even the crazy female villains were toned down. There are lots of sweet moments between the leads... again a rare thing. I highly recommend this drama ...loved it

If you are looking for a romance drama... this is not it. The romance is very light .... nothing intense and builds up slowly. What I liked about this drama is that it is so different from your usual Thai dramas. No slap/kiss, no psychotic female villains and no unreasonable misunderstanding between the main leads. This is a mystery and suspense drama..... every episode was intense... never draggy and I didn’t have to fast forward any bit. The main leads acting were amazing.... my first drama of Ice and she is amazing. I’m become a huge fan of James Ji as well... he’s a natural. They wrapped up every single piece of the drama really well. I’m so glad they showed a lot of sweet moments between the main couple in the last episode. Loved it!

I didn’t know what to expect from this drama .....looked like yet another revenge lakorn to me. I was between lakorns...you know ...waiting for the ones I really want to watch so I started this. And boy am I glad I did! James Ma stole the show for me. This was my first time watching him and I don’t know why I didn’t earlier. From the way he looks...to his wide range of expressions...oh he was a treat to watch. He made what could have been an average drama very very interesting, he’s not like your usual heroes. I laughed and cried with him. Even thought he supposedly portrays a supposedly cold hearted guy....his warmth was palpable and he’s funny....naturally funny. Loved the FL ...Her acting was on point and she’s lovely. In fact all the supporting roles were done right. The show wasn’t draggy either. Loved it

Frustrating at the beginning but it gets better

There was so much hype and controversy surrounding this Lakorn that I of course HAD to watch it! Also because I find the ML, Mai Warit’s smile. absolutely enchanting! To be honest I was disappointed in him ... I don’t know if it was the script or the ML was trying to be funny but it just didn’t work for me. Way too much overacting I felt. But he did get better eventually. I loved the FL.... she was a strong woman from the get go which I like. There was so much controversy and anger over how the ML when the FL was supposedly’abused’. I agree that the victim blaming thing doesn’t help our society’s thinking at all. But I think I somewhat understand how the ML felt...I mean the phone call from the villain guy really did a number on him mentally. I think he did love the FL and he just couldn’t initially process it. I was glad that despite having THREE woman after the ML, even the psychotic villain wasn’t THAT psychotic. We see wayyy worse in other lakorns. I did enjoy the role of the really Yadfah... she was a hoot! overall I enjoyed the drama.

Frustrating

So I saw some of the reviews and felt this might not be a bad one to watch while waiting for the ones I REALLY want to watch. In the beginning I liked it... the banter of the leads were quite fun and the ML mum was great too. But I kept expecting it to get better...and waited and waited... fast forwarded plenty of unnecessary parts to just get through it and see how it ends. I have never seen a clingier girlfriend .... seriously!! The ML had to be really stupid to believe her everytime. I felt the ML was so spineless and gullible. The FL was strong which I liked. There were not ANY heartfelt emotional moments at all between the leads. Nor any sweet scenes until the very last episode. I liked that the leads grew in character but that was just about it. I wouldn’t watch this again tho

The plot line was nice which is why I started watching in the first place. But the episodes seem to dragggggg..... really really drag. It seemed even 14 episodes were too much for this drama. The entire story was too slow.....the characters even seemed to move in a snail’s pace. I fast forwarded majority of the times. There didn’t seem to be any chemistry between the main leads. They seemed too stuff together to me. I don’t know why everyone seem to root for the second male because the FL never seemed to have liked him more than a friend from the very beginning. I have to admit the ML was an eye candy and the FL was gorgeous. Anyone who wants to watch a slow paced drama without all the slap kiss and excessive villainous characters can definitely try this.

So when I started watching this drama ....it felt quite interesting in the beginning. And then it was a downward spiral. There were too many psychotic women running around like crazy... too much vengeance and anger and too much mistrust among the main leads. At one point I felt bad for the ML. Poor guy was trying so hard to redeem himself once he realised his mistake. I stuck to the drama till the end.... fast forwarding quite a lot. The evil plans seemed to drag on and on. I just wanted to see if the main leads end up togethe. Wish the ending was more detailed tho ... their getting back together that is. Plus point is....I really liked the FL and ML acting.
