Dont know why some people hate on this drama
Personally, I started watching, since I had watched shows with both leads in before. Right off the foot I really liked this drama. It had this sense of realism that it dealt with well. All the serious issues through real-life were portrayed fantasticallyI've heard some people say they like the second lead couple more than the main lead couple. In my opinion, both are amazing, but the lead couple is the lead couple for a reason.
It had a very satisfying ending that left me wanting more, but not needing more, as the satisfaction was enough
Would totally recommend it.
Shows like this:
The main male lead character is very similar to his character in Reply 1988. So if you like that, watch Reply
Another show that is very good, and portrays life issues, is Sassy Go Go, or rather, Cheer up. The main female lead from this show is also the second female lead in Cheer up.
Lastly, a very new drama would be Private lives, with the main male lead being the same as this show.

Great ending, would reccomend!
Personally, when I read reviews, I want to know if the show had a good ending or not. I have had too many shows that were good throughout but had a bad/unsatisfactory ending. This show had a very satisfying ending. I haven't had such a good ending in a while. Obviously, I would want more episodes, but with the ending, it doesn't matter as much.
Some great OSTs, They did a good job with Rap OST, as a lot of dramas can't pull that off well.
If you come into this drama, thinking it would be like one of the School 20s, you won't find what you would expect. Nonetheless, this show will pull you in.
Overall, Great show, probably in my top 5
If had to recommend shows like this, Solomon's Perjury sounds like it has nearly the same the synopsis, except no attorney is in the show.

The shows getting worse and worse
At this point, the show is getting worse and worse. A lot of the characters are getting very unlikeable now. The story gives off this unnecessary feel to it, and I guess it's getting repetitive. The saviour now would be for it to have a good ending. However, I think no matter what happens, the doesn't make it into my top 10. Still, not a bad show, but gets worse, but usually shows like this a satisfying ending. My version of a good ending would probably not come true, as it involves Park Bogum moving on from Park Sodam, and that is unlikely since dramas always find a way for the main leads to end up together

Ehh, Good, Really Really good, ehh, great and satisfying
If I had to describe this show in phrases by chronological order it would be:Ehh, Good, Really Really good, ehh, great and satisfying
STORY: This show started out with great potential since the show deals with issues that are very relatable. The show handled the issues amazingly. It did exaggerate them, but that because it's a drama. For the first quarter of the show, literally no character was likeable other than the main male lead. But as each character opens up, each of them becomes more likeable. The show already had a good backstory, which set it up with a lot of potential. The show slowly got good, and then the got amazing, near the end, the show almost fell off, but the last episode was nothing but mesmerizing. It had a great satisfying ending.
CAST: I thought each actor fit their role amazingly, especially the leads, the mother, and the main male leads sister.
MUSIC: It fitted the show, didn't stand out too much, where I had to search up the name because I liked it so much, but it wasn't bad either
Rewatchability: There were some great moments in the show you would want to rewatch, but there were still parts where you felt like you were pressing the skip by 5 seconds button too much.

Good show, not great, not bad
It has been a long time since I have not had a super satisfying ending I guess. This doesn't mean this show is bad, but its definitely not amazingIt was starting off pretty good, but something very unexpected happened halfway thru the show, and at first, I thought, since it is different from what shows normally do, this could be really good. And it could've been really good.
I think I really would have preferred if they did another arc, something like the backstory of one of the leads, instead of just one arc the whole time. This is because, at one point, the show got stale. The main character wasn't doing much at all, and it wasn't really a detective show at that point. It felt a bit like they were adding extra scenes that weren't necessary, to make the arc last the whole 16 episodes.
I liked the relationship between the male and female lead, but they definitely could've handled it better. There is a part, where something happens to the male lead. When that happened, the female lead finding out / helping him was really underwhelming and could've been much better.
I also would've liked it if the main male lead, was treated more like a lead, instead of a side character, who is smart, but sometimes you forget he's there
All in all, I would recommend this show to someone looking for a detective drama, as it is still not bad. But I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a very good drama in general. This show is not in my top 10, but it is still an above-average show I guess.
Recommendations:
One of the main shows to watch that are somewhat similar, are Memorist, which was a great show, personally a better detective show than this one.
Secondly, 365 repeat the year, a criminally underrated show. It is not super popular, but it has some amazing twists and turns. However, there is even less romance than this show, but it still somewhat hints at it.

Criminally underrated show
Honestly definitely in my top 4 shows. This could've been my favourite show if the budget was higher/it was remade, with the same story. This show starts off with an unexpected twist, but they move on from it pretty quickly, and the show stays good. My only complaint would be the acting, as a lot of the times, the acting was really lacking in some characters. Nonetheless, the story makes up for it. The last 2 episodes are some of the best last 2 episodes I have ever seen. The story was honestly outstanding. The ending was extremely satisfying, giving me shivers with the last scene. Not only was the ending satisfying, but it was also super realistic. I didn't know an ending could be so good and be both. At first, I thought the show would be better off as 20 episodes, but after seeing the ending, it didn't really matter. I wish some of the songs were real since they all really good. Hope they are on Spotify, but I doubt it. Even when I really thought something bad was going to happen, after it ended, it turned out to be a good thing. There are moments where you want to drop the drama, but if you get through it, it'll be worth it.
Recommendations:
I don't think I have ever watched a show like this, but if you want another extremely good school drama, I would recommend Moorim School.

Great show, with a great ending
Just finished this show, and it feels nice to watch such a good show. Before this, I had given up on doctor dramas, thinking they weren't my taste. However, this show isn't just a doctor drama. It includes many real-life problems and handles them exceptionally. This acting was also spectacular, especially Ahn Hyo-Seops.The only thing I would have wished for is maybe a bit more building up in the romance, but even that was really good for what's supposed to be a doctor drama. Maybe more episodes might have been more fit, but that's just me being greedy because the show was so good.
Would definitely want to watch more of Ahn Hyo-Seops works after this. Overall, a great show, definitely worth watching, and definitely in my top 10
