ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF HOW A BAD FILM-CREW CAN RUIN A GOOD POTENTIAL SERIES

I've said it before. Screenwriters make or break a story. And this one has a LONG list of horrible, messy scripts thay make NO SENSE, in her register.

- Time to admit defeat and acknowledge that screenwriting is NOT for you, Poy. You're probably a great person... but, your scripts are not.

The Director was also a wrong choice... did he even care for anything but the pay check at the end of the shift? ...

The anger in me, watching people blame the actors for this is just deafening. They aren't bad at their jobs. In fact:

ROSSI does a PHENOMENAL rendition of Night, based off his character's manners in the Novel.🫶🫰 Well done!

ART understood the assignment & does a phen job at portraying Gear's overprotectiveness of both Itt & his posessiveness of Night, causing him to be defiant of Day to the point of being his punching bag to gain simp with Night.🫶🫰Well done!

LONG LEE as Day might seem like an odd choice, but he also understood the assignment well, the turbulent balance between violence & tenderness that Day has going on in the novel is like turning a lightswitch, and he gets it on point how it's frustrating for Day when Itt is so very flippant with that switch..

FRANK pulls off the perfect balance of Barking Dog Stupid Bravery & Shaking Mouse PTSD that Itt has in the novel too. Even if the bathroom scene we see totally lacks the subtext from the novel where it is literally from Itt's pov & he could have easily thrown Day off if he had wanted to, but in the novek he let's Day choke him, in case it might bring back his memories... Something the script completely erased, the director forgot to note in & the screenwriter definitely missed.... (It was the tiny smile from Itt just after they get interrupted by Nick) after Day threatens him....

----> Frank and Long pull this delicate balance off really well. It's not Love, it's Fragile Codependency. Stockholm/Lima effect. They understood the assignment better than the scriptwriter <-----

.... and then there's Hearth & Non ...
Why waste such good potential with casual mentions & a few hinting scenes? ...
- Mac is not allowed to leave Nan's side for most of the novels. Seriously where Nan is, Mac is always within eye's sight (as Nan was taught by Day, Who did the same to Itt) ... Mac is allowed his freedom if he obeys the rules and curfews (or else... SA is the only other option, shame on you for that, Nan! Then again, you learned it all from Day...) ... & Mac's defiance is slowly, but surely, diminishing through out the story, and this is ongoing up until the ALMOST BIG FINALE... but NanMac has a novel series of their own, paralell to Love so Brutal, that explains what goes on with them before & after they interact with DayItt's timeline... and that subtext is just NOT coming off the screen (seriously anyone read the novels will know, and anyone illiterate will have zero clue and these TVOnly-illiterates will bully the shit out of the actors with this ignorance of never reading anything)

It feels like the scriptwriter just opened a random chapter in the novel and decided to write that into the script... not bothering much further tham that for anything... it's so bad... same for the guys who edited it and added the sound... wth!?

I know it's Art singing. Phenomenal btw. But the song is abused by the cutting/editing crew.. it does not make a good final product.

To absolutely NO FAULT of his, or the other Actors...

LS2 and Unforgotten Night, are both Perfect examples of what happens when good sourcematerial gets handed to BAD scriptwriters & Directors ... They are both great evidence of how a terrible Producer, Editing & Sounds Crew & a dgaf Director, can RUIN a good potential series...

Regardless of how good of an acting team they collected for it.

I am once again disapointed.. guys, read the novel & find out EVERYTHING that is missing from this terrible script.. So much context just skipped ..

I doesn't matter how good I think these actors are doing (they are the sole reason I am still watching tbh) .. .

This show was ruined by a bad film-crew.

There is no Love Triangle

Can I just say, that I feel really bad for Nont? He's the nicest guy, yet he gets stood up twice and frankly it makes Kaitoon seem like real arse.. I mean there is no Love triangle just all their feelings being all jumbled and tossed about with absolutely TERRIBLE communication skills and bad excuses. BUT it works for the plot. And on my life this series is sweet and well told. You want to get to know the characters. But... Kai really needs to REMEMBER his dates and meetings with people. Especially those he himself sets up, because having that side in the plot, really made me like the character Less... it's very inconsiderate.

That's about it. Go watch it and make up your own opinion. Sorry for the spoilers.

This drama is probably meant to push your moral buttons

I don't know where to start... so far this drama has been knocking hard on the glass and viscously shaking my moral compass. First off a friend pretends to be gay and into BL to get the girl he lovebullied as a kid.. which is pretty dysfunctional but he keeps smiling through it all like a crazy... then there's his friend who goes along with it.. who is equally confusing as to why... and then there is the third friend who has yet to come out to his father and probably never will, and he is trying to deal with his step-brother whom has got some unmedicated issues for us to deal with, and he is totally in love with him. So third friend willxhave to deal with his step brother's Limerence syndrome (or his filial imprinting idk which to choose), his Othello disorder and his over all bipolarity or borderline personality.... to put those ilnesses in easy terms; the step brother basically a love sick jelaous stalker...

Now, this is not my cup of tea. But because I always finish something I begin. I will watch this story through. The acting is great the boys are selling jt for sure! But you know. My moral compass is fighting with the plot scenarios... A LOT.

Perfect Example of The Wrong Director/Producer in charge.

I admit I am disappointed. And this review will be long, because my brain is wired that way.

First off. I am an actual Sado Tachi. and while I was reading the Novel I loved Kamol.

Let me explain why; I loved the details in the novel, the way the author describes the "Unforgettable night" is akin to having either experienced it, or having watched other Sado's at work. I loved the part qhere Kamol makes five times sure that Kim knows what he is getting himself into. giving him multiple chances to back out. it was like reading art. and Yes, it gave me idéas.

Even if the story faultered in some places. I hold Kamol high as he is my number one favorite character in Thai Y'novels. Kamol in the novel is an insatiable, EXPERT experienced Sado. and he does not go soft on his Subs. you would have to be an absolute Maso to handle his vices.

-> Thus enter Kim. brilliant portrayal of a true Maso who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to ask for more of it.

Now... The first episode... ... ... Too many Rookie Mistakes made for me to akin Novel Kamol with the TV-Kamol in any way shape or form.

Now, I won't list them but the one thing that irked me off so bad was that an experienced SaDom, as Novel Kamol is described to be, one akin myself who's been playing the game since 19. Would NEVER tie in the bondage the way that ?Kamol did... It's a ROOKIES mistake, and it's potentially a safety issue for your Maso... Because a 2kg ikea Nightstand will not withstand the force of someone who's body is in spasm from the pain being struck on the back with a Cato'9. that little tickler wasn't even a good quality one either...

Now that's not on Yoon, that is on the sloppy work and instructions from the director. who clearly hasn't researched anything. nor did he care enough how it would look....

The work is hasty, blurry and poorly edited, and I still can't understand for the life of me how that episode made the cut and got out in the final work. it's like they didn't even care to make it professional OR even remotely BDSM accurate...

I am disappointed to say the least. but that's what you get from a Conglomerate and a Minor Entertainment comoany.... You get a rookie crew who simply focuses on scheduled time to shoot over actually making good quality scenes. clearly some of the scenes in the first episode. especially the "Unforgettable Night" that they shared. needed a reshoot and should have never made it past the cutting board if you ask me.... It's laughable for someone who even had the slightest clue about BDSM.

it's a spit in the face of Novel Kamol too. But I DON'T blame Yoon for it. the audience of Youtube will take it for what it is.... but Anyone remotely versed in BDSM will saw this series down, and Gagas will laugh it to null... Because most of us KNOW what true bdsm is. And we know the good quality that it can be made into.

Besides. with the all the plot changes made in the TV-Version of KinnPorsche we now have The fact that Pete is no longer a Victim to Vegas brutal hand... but in the TV series he has been made into a WILLING Pet who EVEN made the first move.... That means TV- KamolKim already look pathetically Pale in comparison to that scene with TV-VegasPete in episode 12. and it's a Shame...

Since I really hold Novel Kamol up as number ONE on my list of favorite SaDoms in Thai BL-novels and Let me tell you right now the Novel Monster that is Vegas isn't even on that list.....
- Such a Shame... I'm not even sure how to or if I even want to proceed with the next episode...
I'm already too damn disappointed in the production company for letting that trainwreck of a scene pass to final cut on the cut and editing board.

Way to kill the excitement and expectations that I had for the show. as I would finally get to see my beloved Kamol in a live action....

Again, Yoon did well as Kamol in other aspects of the first episode.. and props to the new guy who plays Kim.. Who's name I will have to learn for making the unfounded misery of a inesided crush look as pathetic as it is.

- But as far as that Scene that was supposed to Hook us to Kim in the same way Kamol did. it failed .. it wasn't even close to hitting a homerum... it was so far off to the side that the baseball hit the left hand corner behind the pitch... and it makes me sad. I really had high hopes. But such rookie mistakes. they are unforgivable. not unforgettable.
