MUST WATCH

I actually rarely watch on going dramas since i am very impatient, sometimes i get bored as i wait and ends up with me putting the drama on-hold. But surprisingly, this isn't the case for fiys! i am into cdrama these days so i decided to try fiys plus it's an esports drama! i am a sucker for dramas like this as i like playing games myself. I can’t exactly find any words to describe this drama, it’s funny cute, sweet and inspiring, a mixed of it all!

To be honest, It can't really be considered as the most unique or special drama for a lot of people but one thing that made me think of how special this is, is how inspirational it is! I love how it's breaking gender stereotypes, as someone who plays game myself, getting misogynist comments from people often happens bc they think it does not suit me although i did not really care about it still gets on me, in the earlier eps people doubt Tong Yao just bc of her gender and i loved how she proved them wrong and showed them her worth. I also loved her speech when she talked about women playing games and all, i couldn't remember the whole thing she said but it warmed my heart. I also loved when Lu Si Cheng talked about their fans, "If you really like a player, please come closer to his competition stage, but stay a bit further away from his personal life." How i wish i could tell this to every obsessed weird fans out there.

The female lead (Tong Yao) is competitive and hard working. She has good gaming skills, no. 1 tamamo mae player for a reason. She's a sweet and a really good team player. She cares not just for her teammates but also for her opponents, she doesn’t look down on them and geniunely wishes them the best. She might come off as childish and impulsive sometimes but she knows and reflects on it. It's my first time seeing Cheng Xiao in a drama and i kinda find her acting stiff at first but i got used to it after awhile and even found her adorable. Not that she's bad, just maybe the lack of expression but she's actually doing pretty good for someone who just started acting.

The male lead (Lu Si Cheng) is the type of guy who seems cold and quiet to everyone but has a soft spot for the fl. He's also a really great captain. He geniunely cares for his teammates. Like the fl, he also got good gaming skills, he's an awesome gamer. He might come off as cold but he's honestly not, he's just really too honest and calm lol. I have never seen Xu Kai before and i am glad he's the ml, he did really well in portraying the character. I even became a fan! i watched arsenal military academy while waiting for new eps and now im currently planning to watch more of his past works. Will surely wait for his future works too.

More than anyone in the esports field, i believe that the one who understands and trusts Tong Yao the most is Lu Si Cheng. He sees her as someone who's capable of being a great professional gamer, regardless of her gender and what people think of her. He believes in her but he is also always right beside her when she's upset or unhappy, tong yao’s overcoming her fear and cheng ge’s comfort and support for her, he is so supportive. The way he’s always the first one to push and support tong yao just warms my heart.

This chemistry is really great, they look so good together!I i can't help but scream everytime i see them together. XK and CX really succeeded in making my heart flutter whenever i see the both of them together.

Ofc, let's talk about the supporting characters, Falling Into Your Smile would never be the same without them! Y'all should really look forward to the relationship between the cps, the wholesome bromance and friendships. There were some team conflicts but I liked how they sort things out. Behind all those wins is a team with amazing teammates.

Overall, it's a great drama! I will for sure rewatch it once i had the time. I like how it covered different life aspects like relationships, friendships and teamwork.

If you're hesitant to watch it bc you know nothing about esports then dw, it's okay if you don't know much about gaming, you can watch it and you'll still understand how things works since they also explained some of the things related to the game/esports. Even if they did not explained it, ig you'll still understand how it works the more you watch it.

Please do not take things too seriously, a drama is called a drama for a reason, it's all for entertainment purposes. Some may love fiys and some may not. It has its flaws.

A ROMCOM WITH A LITTLE MYSTERY TO IT

A ROMCOM WITH A LITTLE MYSTERY TO IT

tbh, i actually watched this without any expectations at all but i actually really liked it! i really enjoyed it from start to finish, just the right amount of everything with extra fluff which i really liked. it's been a while since i've laughed and smiled a lot because of a drama and dali and the cocky prince did that. It's a drama that will make you cry because of laughing too much but at the same time there's a lot to learn, the way they speak things will really impact you. i was also kinda surprised but at the same time not with the twist! i found it surprising but not really surprising at the same time lmao idk how i should explain this without spoiling but ig you'll know what i mean once you've finish the drama.

the chemistry between the leads is off the charts! it feels so natural whenever you see them together!

Moo hak may be the most "uncultured" male lead ever but i find it a charm of his lol i thought he was a jerk at first but he's honestly one of the best ml i've come to know, there's also so much to learn from him, i also love how he's always there for dali whenever she needs someone to lean on, he's the type of person who knows how and when to take care of someone but knows when to step back and let them take care of everything on their own and i really love that of him.
Dali on the other hand is also just as good! she is the sweetest ever, a very soft, elegant and cute female character! she knows how to take care of herself and always stand up for what she think is right! she knows what to handle and how to handle things out, i really love her! she's been through a lot and deserves nothing but every good thing in this world (ofc moohak too)

the main characters including the supporting character are all so lovely and are very fun to watch except for the villains lmao.

one of the things i really loved too was the honesty of the leads, no stupid misunderstandings at all, if there was even one then ig i didn't really consider it as stupid and it was easily resolved with a simple conversation.

this drama is so underrated, i wish it would get the attention it truly deserves. It was really lovely and was such a mood booster. If you’re into light hearted and laugh with less angst then i highly recommend this drama!

a relationship that will make you feel so single

''a relationship that will make you feel so single''
that was my first thought after the leads got together! i seriously love how they were always there for each other through ups and downs, they are both so mature and never hesitate to talk to each other first when a problem arise. no stupid misunderstanding or breakup between the leads, it's fun to watch.

story: i enjoyed the series for the most part, i loved how they focused a lot on the ice skating parts because that's also one of the reasons why i watched it. i loved almost everything about this especially the main leads! the supporting characters are not bad either but i just liked the leads a lot more. there are lessons that are really meaningful and heartwarming, i really loved how they never fail to mention how important teamwork is to a team and how you can never get there with a magic bc you have to work hard for it! this was really a great series that has a touch of touching aspect of each athletes/characters striving and working really hard to reach their goal also with the great support of their family, friends and loved ones. i also really loved how their opponents are also nice! they accept defeat and make up for it, love that for them.

cast/acting: if you're gonna ask if there are annoying characters, yes there are, they got me really mad and annoyed but the leads make up for every annoying stuffs they does!! our main leads definitely made this show even more worth watching!! Wang An Yu is an amazing actor, this is my second drama of his and he never disappoints, he played Shao Bei Sheng really well! i have seen a lot of people who said SBS is dumb and annoying but i didn't really found him annoying although there was a time where i did found him dumb lmao but he's a really great boyfriend, friend and son, you can rely to him a lot. I think i haven't watch any of Song Zu Er's drama yet which just means that this is my first drama of hers and i found her really cute in here! she really grew on me! she also played Shen Zheng Yi really well, i don't really have any complaints with her character, i personally think she's really good and really adorable! ngl she never fails to make me tear up every time im seeing her cry TT

There's also 2nd couple but they kinda stressed me out tbh they had more misunderstandings more than the leads lmao but they were really cute when they were together, fun to watch and they're both a really great friend to our leads. There are some annoying characters but you can just skip them! there are more good ones that bad ones

if you're confused or curious if there's love triangle here, i would say there is but very little since the love triangle isn't that bad like other dramas have (also some probably do not even consider it a love triangle) since male lead has always have his eyes on female lead, you can clearly tell that both leads liked each other and no one can stop them from liking each other.. no one got into or affected the leads relationship after they got together so you don't have to worry at all! i honestly don't think it's possible for someone to have a 2nd lead syndrome either but it depends on u ig lol

The chemistry and comedy in the show is really good. the ice parts are also very interesting, thrilling and fun to watch!! even i got so nervous for them.. there maybe plot holes but I will definitely recommend you to give it a try!

AN UNDERRATED GEM

I started this drama while i was waiting for a new episode of the on going drama i was watching , i thought this drama had the right amount of episode and also recieved a lot of positive reviews so i decided to give it a try and i ended up liking it! even more than the one i was currently watching lol. I started it without any expectations at all but i really loved it. I felt so empty after finishing it.

this drama is so underrated, almost everything about is good and the acting is really good! it really is a gem, you can't hate anything or anyone, there's no annoying or evil characters, no boring scenes and no misunderstandings, they resolved everything so quickly. It has hilarious and some sad moments that will make you smile, cry and laugh, they tackles issues and problems in light manner that it won't make you anxious at all, each episode has its own theme and each are also very meaningful. their friendship is something everyone would love to have! it's sooo pure. there is also something about this drama that will make you remember your past self and reminisce your own experiences! a really really fun and wholesome drama, i can relate to this drama in so many levels!

one of the things that i also really loved about this drama is how close their families are! lovely us is mostly centered around friendship and families but also has a hint of romance in it! you'll see so many wholesome and lovely moments between each and every characters. they had excellent chemistry to the point that everything feels so natural, it also has just the right and good amount of episode.

TAN SONG
Li Ming De is really the perfect actor to play Tan Song. he's mischievous and caring, he likes to tease and bicker with cheng zi but also protects her at the same time. he seems like the type to not take everything seriously but he's actually a really great friend. if I was in school again, it's actually not so impossible for me to fall for a guy like him...

CHENG ZI
Tian Xi Wei played this character really well! she's adorable. one of the things that i liked about cheng zi is that even though she's kinda childish, she's not annoying at all, infact i even found her adorable and cute. she fangirls over other ppl, her studies are not the best but her heart is pure and sincere. she knows what she likes.

CHEN ZIU
Li Ming Yuan really played Chen Zui really well. the very innocent guy, the one who has and can do almost everything but never know what he wants. the boy who expresses his love by purely wishing the girl he likes to be happy. he is sensitive and really cares about those who are important to him. i fell for his character the most! i just found him too precious TT

JIN XIAO
i just want to say that Li Ying Ying is so pretty! i straight up fell for her the first time i saw her.. i found her the most clueless when it comes to each other's emotion, not in a bad way she's just not good at figuring it out ig but she's really cool, she's clueless at such thing but she excels in her academics. her reactions at everything are cute and funny, her facial expressions speaks for everything lmao

JIN ZHAO
You Haoran did so well in portraying this character! Jin Zhao is an extrovert boy who knows exactly what he wants, he is most likely to be the mood maker in them.

the osts are so so good!!! i loved the songs, i don't really pay that much attention to the osts unless i really found it good and i found the osts of this drama really good!

i have no idea if this review help since it's kinda messy and late lol but i hope it did! 'lovely us' is such an underrated gem, glad i discovered this drama, you should give it a try! we all have different preferences, but for me personally, i loved and enjoyed it.. im not really the type of person who prefers this type of drama but for some reason, i found myself liking and enjoying it :>

-----

"I wish that the girl I like can honestly just be herself, bravely face challenges and realize her dreams. Then she can set off in the direction she likes, slowly make her way forward and live happily ever after"
I SERIOUSLY CANT BELIEVE A WISH CAN HURT ME THIS MUCH

A GOOD WATCH

I enjoyed the drama so much! i was looking for a drama that can make me feel so single and this drama did made me feel so single!

Although i must admit that i liked it, it might not be for everyone. It might not be for you if you're looking for a heavy drama because it's clearly not.

It's not really the perfect type of drama, i won't say that it's a masterpiece either but it's a good watch, i enjoyed and liked it. There are some cliché scenes but i guess that much was to be expected for light dramas like this.

I loved the fact that they showed us about the leads being supportive and moving away from so much misunderstanding and break up tropes.

About the characters, personally, i found the fl cute and the ml nice.

I liked how ml seemed really cold but he's not really cold, he's sweet and nice, he just does not talk that much. He was very in touch with his emotions and of those around him. He just chose to not say anything and just help everyone in small ways instead of saying so much things.

The fl is the type of person who simply enjoys living. She does not really have a set goal in life other than simply enjoying it. She works in a library because she likes to read, she opened a cafe with her friends to spend time with them. She wrote a story because she likes writing. She just does what makes her happy. Some might find her annoying for that but she's depicted as someone who finds joy in the small things in life. And it made me like her a lot.

I also loved the fact that she's considered pretty and not as nerd because she is indeed pretty.. It's just that in most drama, if you have braces or you wear glasses, you are considered as either a nerd or a loser when you're not even one.

And of course, let's talk about the supporting cast, each of them did really good. The three girls were very interesting contrasts to each other.

They are all different from each other, different personality, thoughts and lovelifes but they go well with each other. Their friendship was so amazing. They all knew how to support each other without trying to push their own thoughts instead they listen and comfort each other. I want that kind of friends.

Ai Jing Chu and Zheng Li as a couple were really sweet. A dentist and a librarian, i found that rare! i haven't really seen any couples from other dramas with that job! I loved the late night dates so much!! their misunderstandings were solved quickly and there's no breakup. I also liked how they supported each other throughout! The love triangle towards the middle were handled well, Yu Yi was also so nice and respectful towards them two.

Liu Yu Cheng and Wu Ying as couple were really cute. An older woman and younger guy, i really loved their relationship! Liu yu cheng was so sweet and caring towards wu ying, i love them so much! i love how they solved their problem towards the end, they handled that pretty well.

Deng Hao Ran and Ma Yi Yi as a couple were hot. A friend to lover trope. The playboy one and someone who easily falls in love. They're cool, i didn't really like them as much as i do with the other couples but i still liked them. I liked their scene at the end, they're so sweet. I want a brother and a friend like deng hao ran, someone who'll make me happy when i'm unhappy! Ma yi yi on the other hand is quite annoying but she's a really good friend.

Zheng li's story was explained well even though it was explained only through the book. Using her book to tell the story both past and future was a great method.

Overall a good watch! if you're into light or fluffy dramas then you should give this a try! (◍•ᴗ•◍)

a drama that will make you smile

This has been in my ptw for quite a while, i couldn't find myself to start this bc there were very little reviews and not all of it are positive either.. but, im glad i gave this a try! i know people have mixed reviews, but i genuinely enjoyed it a lot!! i've been on a slump for a while now and nothing just hits it off for me no matter how much i try, but this helped me get off the slump!! one of the reasons why i liked this was probably bc it reminds me a lot of wifty and lovely us.

This drama did not just make me smile, it also made me laugh and cry! I got so attached to everyone and i love them so much, they're all so precious to me! this drama is just so light, fluffy, and wholesome, it was such an easy watch but, i didn't find it boring at all.

let me start off with their FRIENDSHIP, the first episode got me hooked alr bc i am always seated for anything with friendship like what they have! to give you a glimpse, the five of them grew up together, they've been friends since they were kids and that's one of the things i love about this, especially when they showed scenes when they were kids! their dynamics were really cute! one more thing that i liked was there were also people out of their circle that they got closed with!

next, is the bond between the FAMILY! i love how it's not only the kids that are friends, but also the parents! and, they all still bond together from time to time.. moreover, i think here, we got to see the kind of parents in every household! we have here the kind that we hate, we love, and we relate! you'll get what i mean when u watch.

next is how RELATABLE! i love seeing them pursue what they want bc i know how it's like, i relate to then a lot on this! And, as someone who was very grade conscious as a consistent achiever but, also struggles from time to time, i can relate a lot. I love how they also tackled the issue between class 1 and class 4 because it actually happen in real life (atleast in my country). Moreover, I liked the scene when they highlighted the fact that we all adapt to things differently. Not because you're in a higher class means you're the best, and it doesn't mean that you'll get better either, sometimes the atmosphere and ur surroundings affects you.

lastly, the ROMANCE, even tho, romance isn't the focus here, i think they showed enough of it! i loved how different the relationships and dynamics are between each couples! they're all so precious. the couples don't get tgt fast but, it's still cute bc they're all very much like together even before the confessions!

this is so underrated!!! i don't see anyone talk about this but, you should give it a try and ignore the ratings bc it's honestly so wholesome! if you liked youth dramas, then there's a huge chance that you'd like this too.

note:
one thing i wished was probably the change of poster! i hate to say it but, it looks so similar to the obs one and idek why bc the story is sooo different! they could've gone with a different design and setup, why this??lmao ?
