Kuramoto Sou, his style and visions.
This beautiful drama was a masterpiece and a wonderful final project for the late Ogata Ken, who was one of the finest actors the world has ever seen. This drama showed true human emotion and the struggle every person has with both life and death. It was graceful, calm, yet heart-breaking. Every moment was tinged with emotion and the characters were so well-played. My favorite scene was the final encounter between Gaku and his father, or rather the Archangel Gabriel, his one true friend. It was a stunning and tragic scene very well-played by the actors and I cried. I knew from the beginning how this series would end, but a part of me still hoped for a miracle.
I love Kuramoto Sou, his style and visions. I like what he has to say about life. His morals are shown heavily in this drama.
