Dare to watch it.

Did this drama wreak my poor heart?
Yes and it left me tearstained. What can I say about this drama that hasn't been said already? It's a masterpiece starting from the mesmerising story to the out of the world acting and the amazing OSTs.
The main leads chemistry was overflowing and during the last episodes it was so much that it made my not so sensitive self shred some tears. The last movie/drama that accomplished that was 2-3 years back so that says a lot.
Even though I put 10 on rewatch value I'm not sure if I can take it. The thing is I'm always down for a good storyline and great acting so my picky self will surely come back to this masterpiece.

I loved the acting, especially Rowoon was magnificent in this role.
Now the story follows the classic storyline but it's not that bad to watch. The whole thing of going abroad and breaking up is kinda boring.
For those who say "Why did she break up with him if she really loved him?" I want to ask them if they could really put up with the emotional burden of long distance relationship, yes some people can do it and I admire them for that but not all of us can do it.
Ha Eun was the MVP of the show but how did she not grow up in 3 years? Come on guys she is a kid not an adult she would have grew taller at least, but changing the actress would feel different because that little girl is adorable.
Side stories were nice and it was good we got into more of their lives.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Welcome to my rant about how this is a hidden jewel... So let's start:
I have never loved a villain more than X. I wish we knew more about his story, why was he like that, who is the girl who hurt him, etc? Surely he was supposed to be bad but I can't help to make excuses for him. He was so intriguing and especially on the last episode I got goosebumps when he yelled at Ga Ram.
The acting was amazing given it was a miniseries and sometimes the acting is not a strong point. You could feel the emotions from the actors and I was sooooo ready to shread some tears but held back. The raw emotions of love was overwhelming but at the same time I couldn't understand how their life didn't matter if the other one lived. I have been in love but never at this scale. How can someone be happy knowing that another person sacrificed their life for them to live, that's a huge burden to bear.
Definitely will binge watch it again ☺️

We got fooled people

I can't believe that I really watched this awful drama, no offense to anybody who worked for it but it didn't do any justice to the first season. Throughout the first season we got to see how much Jojo and Sun Oh love each other even if years have passed but in the second season the writers decided that no she didn't love him but she loved the Hye Young who had no self respect in the name of love. I felt that she pittied him the whole time and he didn't really loved her. They told us that she didn't really love Sun Oh when every time they were together you could see little hearts flying around them. Even if the love part, which is literally on the title but anyways, wasn't good they could reward us with doing a better job on the crime part but no we got a disappointment from there too.
The cast was good but it seemed that even they didn't feel the script. Everything else wasn't even average, but that may be slightly off because I am pissed with the script.
So that's not going on my rewatch list sorry.

While watching Start up I read some reviews on various sites about the show that disappointed me. So here's my opinion.
Start up was a really nice drama. The whole start-up company theme was always interesting to watch and sometimes it was so thrilling to watch how and if Dal Mi, Do San and the others would face the challenges in their way.
The thing that disappointed me in some reviews, as said earlier, is that some people who liked the second male lead would attack the main actor and they would make some questionable statements about the storyline, e.g. there was a comment where it said that only the actions of Ji Pyeong were the writer's doing and not all of the other characters. Surely I wasn't always agreeing with how the main leads were acting but it's a drama you can't expect that the writer has the same opinions as you, something that happens with all dramas.
Acting was good and the chemistry was there. Loved Sa ha's and Cheol San's relationship, cuteness overload really. The music was lovely and it's one of the dramas I would go back to watch.

A nice way to spend your evening

I really liked this drama. It was cute and all.
It was one of the few times where I had a somewhat second lead syndrome. Loved Seo Jun but never really hoped he would end up with Ju Kyung and I think it's for the better that they didn't have a relationship during the time jump because she was not over Suho and that would make him a rebound and he didn't deserve that. He is precious.
Honestly I was team Suho from the start, maybe somebody who read the webtoon would feel like they destroyed the story but as someone who didn't let me tell you I was not disapointed with the outcome.
The music was amazing, the more upbeat songs got me kinda dancing in my seat and the more slow and heartbreaking songs got me sentimental.

If you don't want to be spoiled please go on ?

Let me say one thing... I loved all the episodes up until the last minutes of the last episode. I was expecting the plot to be something other than that, I was super sad about Jun but then the writers took my emotions and threw them into a rollercoaster so in one minute I was extremely happy he was okay but the next I was furious.
I really loved Ra Ra's and Jun's chemistry and of course Ha Young and Seung Gi were my faves laughed with all my heart with their arguments and love ❤️
If i were to watch this drama again I would skip the ending so that I would be less frustrated

One of the best dramas of 2020

It was a drama full of clichés but it was interesting to watch because of the acting. This drama hooked you without realising.
Lee Dong Wook and Jo Bo Ah nailed their roles but honestly the one character that stayed in my mind was Kim Bum's Lee Rang. His character was really frustrating to watch in earlier episodes but after some time you couldn't just not love him.
Yoo Ri and Shin Joo were couple goals honestly, and Soo Oh (the little boy) was the cutest ❤️.
The ending was something I expected but wasn't ready for. It left unanswered questions with me so I don't know how I feel about it.

I am proud to say I'm an anti fan!
This drama had everything. Interesting storylines, out of the world acting, fantastic music...
The King and the Queen were ultimate couple goals. Personally I believe that after the second lake incident So Yong started to resurface along with her memories and she was unconsciously directing Bong Hwan. So the King wasn't only in love with Bong Hwan's character and charisma.
The only thing that I wasn't fine with was the death of Byung In, this guy had me frustrated for 18 episodes and then he made me like him in 5 seconds, damn you second lead syndrome...
Lastly, I have to talk about my favourite secondary character... Kim Hwan was stealing the show without even trying. He is precious someone protect him.
Definitely gonna rewatch this drama.

Typical drama with amazing results

So More than friends had the typical drama standards but I enjoyed it.
📌 A jerk at first male lead
📌 Crush since highschool (honestly who does that, I avoid some of my highschool classmates as much as I can)
📌 Female lead that sometimes you're wondering what's in her head
📌 A second male lead that is kinda obsessed with female lead
📌 Amazing secondary storylines and couples
I loved the OSTs and especially Ong Seong Woo's (Late Regret - part 6) I have it literarily in repeat. ❤️
The chemistry was oozing out of the screen between Soo and Woo Yeon so they're my OTP. I have to admit that I didn't have second lead syndrome but I wasn't hating Joon Soo.
I will definitely put this drama on my rewatch list, it deserves it's spot.

ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT

One of the most realistic drama I've ever watched.
Let me tell you Run On was my guilty pleasure. I was anxiously waiting for the next episode every week. Do we have to talk about chemistry? Bam! It's there and it's oozing, both the couples were so well written. The lines were so out of real life I was sure the writers were narrating someones life with just a bit of fiction.
I love how the awkward Seon Gyeom was always paying attention to free spirited Mi Joo and how she was supporting him in every step he took. Dan Ah and Young Hwa where the cutest, it's refreshing how they reversed the roles of the serious male and happy go lucky female of Kdrama standard.
I will definetely rewatch it after a while.

Not a sequel but a spinoff

So this is cannot be characterized as a sequel as it is not the same story but the characters remained the same. The changes in the cast at first didn't sit well with me but the actors sure delivered. Maybe it was better. I have to talk about that, aside from Han Shangyan and Wu Bai, the most handsome guy in both versions is Xiao Mi. When I saw that they changed the actor I was legit disappointed but dude let me tell you that when I saw him I was left with my mouth hanging wide open. So let's get to the review. (Spoilers ahead)
The story is completely different, nothing like GGS but if you looked past that, it's easy if you treat the show as something new, it had the same energy with GGS. The things that didn't sit well with me were 2: 1st Wu Bai was kinda obsessed with the girl and sometimes he was throwing under the bus his club just for Ai Qing to be happy, and 2nd the way they made Wang Hao to be shown as someone who thinks that the girl is a prize he can win. For me it would be better if they made him give up after he learnt about WB and AQ, they spoiled a good character in the name of jealousy.
Grandpa was the best as always, along with 97 and Zhou Yi, best wingmen in the world.
Shen Ze and Ai Jing left me with mixed emotions. They were cute but kinda toxic at first so even if later they grew as characters I still had objections about the pairing.
Lastly the friendships were the best thing ever, especially when they went to pick up the bride the games they played were so funny 😂.
Definitely gonna rewatch.

SPOILERS AHEAD

This was a drama full of clichés but the chemistry between the actors made it unique.
When I say the chemistry was overflowing I mean that it made me search up the webtoon to see what's next, but that made me not like how the last episode went story wise. I needed the grandpa to accept her on the hospital and for the writers not to bring grandpa's heart condition on to make them apart for so long.
Both couples were so incredible that I don't know what to say. I would really want a reunion of the second lead couple as main leads. They made my heart flutter. Also I didn't like that the problem with the SFL's father wasn't resolved like the webtoon, but if tou think about it it's more believable that he didn't accept someone not from their kin to be with his daughter.
The main leads were hilarious especially when they didn't want to get caught or something.
So, it's a nice light-hearted drama to watch.
