What Do I think happened to Ye Joo at end?

This film is so emotional and not just the typical “murderer’s daughter”, this portrayed more that deep story. This had an open ending which make us viewers to think what’s the ending or what happened to the girl and we’ll became an open minded.

I was sad that Min Shik did not help Ye Joo when he saw her being molested but for real, i cannot blame him. He just became confused and scared at the same time while seeing that, and in fact, he’s just a middle school student means he’s still a minor. It will also leave a traumatic and emotionally scars to him especially that was his “true” friend. Then after that incident he started ignoring Ye Joo which is at first I was confused and a bit mad at him for ignoring her but then, I understood that he ignores her bc he’s also mad at himself , he felt like he’s the worst for not helping her and have not courage to face her because he’s guilty himself. And again, he’s still a minor.

If you really want to know what happened to Ye Joo at the end, I’ll apologize because no one knows what really happened to her.BUT!! if you have time to brainstorm about what happened to ye Joo, the first thing that you can think about is the Goat, and Ye Joo’s personality and life experiences. The goat being a runaway at the end is a clue.
Do you think she died?
Do you think she take her life?
Do you think she just left to a far away place?

For me, as I said, the goat is a clue as well as her personality. Other viewers said that she died , but for me , it’s not. I think she just left and go to a far away place to live a new life and move on. The goat running in the end means she decided to let go Min Shik (including her life in that place) , she let go the goat bc she’s remembering Min Shik and it’s not possible for Ye Joo to leave a grudge to Min Shik as he did not help her and like ghosted her after.
Basically, the goat is like Ye Joo’s grudges and worries the she decided to let go.

Why do I think she did not take suicide?
Based on her personality and life experiences. She’s been bullied a lot (school or outside) and live as a murderer’s daughter but she just doesn’t care and eventually learned to let them go. She not a suicidal person coz her life is not that worst, she’s has a father who supports her and she’s a brave and strong girl. And at end , church scene, the way she look at the rapist is pure of emotion and madness , then she eventually let him go , just like to her bullies. But her eyes, Seem’s like they’re saying “you will receive your worst karma soon you old hag disgusting man”

We’ll yeah that’s it hehe, I love this film. It’s unique, and I hate myself for not knowing this earlier.

I Love Min Shik and Ye Joo relationship, such a great best friend relationship.
Not the typical bully the murderer’s child story.
I like that I need to be open minded to watch and understood the film. I just became a Psychologist while watching this.
This film can teach you how to look closely to a two different point of views.
The ending is not that cliffhanger, but ofc I hated that it has open ending, but i like that we are able to explore our mindset to create our own ending, which helps us develop ourselves.

The only thing that I hate is they did not have justice to Ye Joo. That disgusting fckn old man!
