If seeing Tina Tamashiro in her kawaii waitress outfit isn't enough to get you interested in watching, then let me tell you this movie is good on so many levels. And when you realize that Tatsuya Fujiwara (Bombero) and Masataka Kubota (Skin) both played Light Yagami in different live action Death Notes, you will understand the level of acting the goes into this film, with supporting roles by rock goddess Anna Tsuchiya (her songs from Nana still grace my playlists) and Shun Oguri playing gangsters. Diner is a fun movie with a lot of action, cool fight scenes, delicious looking food and has a good ending. For me this movie is a 10 (mostly because the cast is epic) worth watching more than once!
