as someone who loves republic era cdramas, love in flames of war was bound to be on my watch list...the storyline though presictable (spoiled rich ML falling for stoic selfless FL adoptive acquaintance during war filled republic ch1na) its a lovable trope of mine...also, the fact that Shawn Dou is the ML sealed the deal for me...this man is just *fans-self*

Shawn Dou: plays the role of spoiled rich fuxk boy Xiao Beichen...he has it all; money, prestige, education, and a beautifully handsome face that brings all the girls to their knees...
