Fullmetal Alchemist: Final transmutation is the second part of Fullmetal Alchemist: Revenge Scar which in turn is a sequel to the 2017 movie Fullmetal Alchemist. All the three are based on the events of the manga 'Fullmetal Alchemist' written by Arakawa Hiromu.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Revenge Scar is the sequel to the 2017 movie Fullmetal Alchemist. Following the events of the first movie, the second movie is the continuation of the story based on the manga 'Fullmetal Alchemist' (Japanese : Haganeno Rinkinjitsushi) written by the renowned mangaka, Hiromu Arakawa.
