Jianghu friendship in fighting for the throne story
The main lead of this drama doesn't come from nothing into something. Xiao Chunhe is the 6th prince of Baili nation. He is very talented not only he is very smart mind but but also he has a great martial art.In the couple of first episodes maybe we see that he looks like weak because his inner power was being hurt after fight with the mysterious person when he was banished from Tianqi, the capital city. He heals and increasing his power during this drama. He also meets his lover and couple of young but powerful friends during his journey back to his home town.
This drama follows the story of the original novel. So we can't blame why this drama is not focus on cultivation even though the first half is very promising to enter martial art world story.
This drama is a great live action. It has very composed story and good cast selection. Special effect is wise but as the Wuxia drama, the fighting choreography is not blessing my eyes. Especially the final fight with the Luo Qingyang.
Some changing of the detail in the novel is useful but I still want to make Wuxin Character has a better final story.
This drama is worthy to be rewatch again. Also I hope the producer and team can also work in the other adaptation of this universe.
I want to see more dark river story in An He Zhuan or the great martial artist, Baili Dongjun, in Shao Nian Bai Ma Zui Chun Feng.

As Li Lianhua, he seem live carefree freedom that make money by some cunning treatment. But actually he is dying because of Bischa poison during the great battle with a "demon" alliance. Secretly, he also try to find his senior dead body.
It's my first time finished Cheng Yi drama, I think he is nailed as a swindler physician Li Lianhua. His make up as a half dying man also on point. Other actors also have good script and acting.
No explicit bromance here but sometimes lead to it such as how happy Fang Doubing beside LiLianhua. Di Feisheng also have special obsession toward Lilianhua even both of them spend a night together in bridal chamber.
As detective story, many unlogic solution of the case such as face transformation, body splitting, gender shifting, and other magic formulas. So mostly there's no "Aha" moment when we can guess the answer before the actual disclosure scene.
Overall for mystery detective, wuxia, friendship drama, this is good.

Amazing
This series is really good. how they pick the cast, the town setting, the cinematography, shoot and blasts also their style and fashion.The Hua city is an imaginary town but I feel that those characters really exist as Hua city's citizens. The film setting is like Hong Kong 80-90 movie around Borneo area with Thai Language.
The story is well written. It seems mixed of several idea of different head but it make the story interesting and unpredictable.
The team really smart to cast Liang Long. He is amazing drug dealer with personality. His hair style and thin face make him really like a real drug addict.
And Yu Shanghai. He makes the viewers annoyed with him because his unwanted evil things and turned out he is one of the hero/anti hero in the end of his story.
And our main character, Luo Xiang have really nice neck with those shirts.
All cast act really on point.
I hope this will be a standard to make another crime detectives series in the future.

misunderstanding is a key of the show
Too many lies over lies that lead to misunderstanding. The story is only about up and down relationship between two males leads. A thief and a law enforcement (Jinyiwei). The others are only side characters that can be easily tortured or killed to build some stories.Don't need to confuse which side is bad, which side is good. Or which side will win, which side will lose.
Acting of both leads are good. That makes me want to watch this show until finish. Only 24 episodes will not make you bored. Try to watch this and expect nothing.

A handsome male lead with shirtless scene, romance and happy ending.
This movie is about finding artefact that written in the Silk Book called The stone of Nuwa. It can make the person who owned it travel back to past. One rich man hires Yuan Zhen and his friend to go to North Pole to locate the Stone.7.5 here is because it's just an another adventure of finding Chinese artefact story. The flow is actually good in an hour movie (but in this MDL, there's no flow and script rating). I want a bit humor, Er Ha's humor just can't make something funny or ruined the moment.
Overall it's still a good movie. Because of it is predictable, I don't think I will re-watch the movie.

Light Wuxia and happy ending
This series is mixed between idol romance drama and adventure-friendship Wuxia. I think the director team want to get more viewers by this formulation.But this kind of half-hearted Wuxia makes some the real Wuxia fans upset. The fans expected beautiful fighting between the characters but we only get several fight and a lot of chat.
The story is light, there are no difficult mystery or plot twist to follow. It makes easier people who don't have much brain to watch this. But sadly people who have light brain usually crafts for chemistry or romance story between the main lead, I don't know if this series can full fill it because the director must share the episode with other character story.
The good things is the cinematography is good, the light, the colors, It is very pleasant to be watched by my eyes.
The main character is Wang Xiao Shi, this is the first time he leaves the mountain and have a journey. He meets his lover, Wen Rou and his sworn brothers, Bai Choufei and Su Meng Zhen.
The personality of Wang Xiao Shi is like other Wuxia main lead: bright and keen. He supposed to inspire people around him. Bai Choufei is cold and straightforward. He want to rule the martial art world. Su Meng Zhen is the older brother. He has power and he is really inspire people around him. So basically Bai Choufei doesn't like what Su Meng Zhen had, but Bai Choufei is really care with Wang Xiao Shi and it's become the main conflict. Many audiences didn't like Wen Rou lack of acting and childishly characters but she is not important in the story, so don't worry.
The side character actually have more interesting story. Six Half hall is the Su Meng Zhen's house competitor. It has Lei Sun as the leader, Lei chun as his heir daughter and Di Feijing as his foster son. Lei Chun is Su Meng Zhen's lover.
For the mature audience, the acting and story of Lei Chun, Su Meng Zhen and Di Feijing are better than the main leads. The love story between Lei Chun and Su Meng Zhen have better written and they have a good chemistry. Di Feijing also have strong story as family and the house protector. You should get a friend and big brother like Di Feijing. Many viewers really appreciate their acting.
Many fans is satisfy a happy ending the for the main conflict. But I skipped a lot scenes of the 2 last episodes because it is flat and predictable. The beginning episodes actually is more interesting than the last episode.
I don't think I will rewatch this series.
