Three kisses in one episode! Been wondering why this drama is categorized under Romance, not Historical, Apple TV section. This must be the reason.

No cheap sentiment

This is raising my standard of dramas, I'm not enjoying normal kdramas anymore. A reviewer said that the drama does not resort to "cheap sentiment". And that is one key element that raises this drama above others. The writing and acting are so good it doesn't need cheap sentiment to make you feel the emotions.

Effortlessly made me cry

The acting of every cast member is impeccable. But Isak stood above them all. His nuanced death scene made me cry before I realized I was crying. And who can forget young Mozasu's lively banter with Isak, "I want to be both rich and loved".

Blew me away

I thought they won't be able to replicate the superior quality of the first season. I gladly retract my words. The quality of this production is comparable to that of the first season, especially with the addition of two adorable child actors.
