woahhh it's really good
story:this is not a common storyline, and i'm pretty sure the director/screenwriters came up with this one and it's not based off of a book (i think). the cases were really interesting, and it was like a giant case going on during the whole entire drama, with smaller ones in each episode. also they left us off on a cliffhanger and i saw on 微博热搜 that they're filming season 2? sooo i'm excited!
acting/cast:
the acting was pretty good imo, crying scenes were great, just overall good actors. i didn't really recognize anyone in this drama before watching it, so i had no previous knowledge. however, 檀健次 had become really popular from this, and douyin's about him were all over my fyp, so i decided to watch this, nonetheless i was not disappointed!! his acting is really good, and he's also super talented? the other cast were also really good
music:
i think 檀健次 sang the ending song? not sure tho, i don't really pay attention to modern drama osts, i'm more of a historical ost person. but the songs were decent
rewatch value:
i don't really rewatch dramas, unless they're like 封神, so i wouldn't really take this rating into consideration.
overall:
good drama! stoked for season 2 :)

really really funny show
this is like one of my favorite variety shows ever, along with ace vs ace. the cast are all so funny, i love every single one of them. even though some of the challenges are repeated throughout all the seasons and episodes, i still love watching every single one of them. i've even rewatched some of the episodes like a couple times, especially the one where the cast are all in historical clothes, and guan xiao tong is one of the guests for that episode, it was literally so funny. many will compare this to keep running, but i prefer this one over keep running LOLcast:
fan cheng cheng - bro he's just attractive
yang yang - he's also attractive and him and fan cheng cheng are like always the odd ones out because they never seem to know what's happening and it's so funny
jia ling: we know her, we love her
yang di: hilarious dude, also super talented at guessing songs and stuff like that
wang su long: i've been a fan of his for so long, so i'm biased but he's really good at singing, writing, and guessing songs, and he's really funny as well.
song xiao bao: i've also been a fan of his ever since he went on huan le xi ju ren (which is like where his career started), and he's just so funny.
i don't think i'm missing any of the main casts... hopefully i'm not
but anyways, you should watch it lol

one of the best dramas i've ever watched
story:the story was perfectly paced, the events weren't slow, and they weren't overwhelming. i don't want to give away anything so i'll just keep it as that
acting/cast:
bai lu is one of my favorite actors. the way she portrayed shi yi was like perfect, and the way that shi yi interacted with zhou sheng chen...
music:
the ost was sung by zhang bi chen. that is all i need to say. (if you don't get it, i mean that it's a beautiful song and her voice matches the meaning so well)
rewatch value:
i typically don't rewatch dramas, so i'm not sure yet. but i may visit this drama again or its sequel in the future
overall:
amazing drama, i think i cried like eight times watching this. i finished it in one day

i loved it (im terrible at reviewing dramas tho, it's usually the actors that are important to me)
story:it was a little different than what netflix had wrote that it was. i didn't expect so much bloody gang stuff, but i'm not like complaining about it or anything. i thought that it was going to go into further detail about her life before her father was killed, but it all happened really quick. i guess that's what you get from an eight episode drama... also the last fight was kinda boring since i've already watched like a bunch of fight scenes in the drama, although it was pretty fun to see choi moojin think that he was going to win when the gun didn't have a bullet in it.
- mini rant:
why did jeon pildo have to die... i know the romance was so random between him and jiwoo but i was literally waiting for something to happen that whole time. his death was so random too... i mean maybe the director was thinking that his death would cause jiwoo to "go crazy" but it was out of nowhere. he was the only reason i wanted a s2 but since he died im not sure id want one, or at least if a s2 were to be filmed i don't want to see another romantic relationship happen between jiwoo and some other guy.
acting/cast:
THE ACTING WAS SO GOOD, han sohee is definitely one of my favorite female actors. i bet she had to do a lotta fighting training for this, there were so many fighting scenes (they were all so intriguing). i recognized a couple of the actors from other kdramas like itaewon class.
music:
ngl i dont really pay attention to the music unless it's a historical drama... so no comment.
rewatch value:
since i just finished the drama, i'm not sure if i'll rewatch it. i might think about it in the future but as of rn idk.
overall:
amazing drama, still pissed that jeon pildo died.

kinda a waste of time
i just finished watching this title, only bc i was rushing to finish it. usually when i start a title, i feel the need to finish it.the beginning of the drama was decent, so that's why i kept watching it. but as i got more into the drama, everything felt so rushed. only at the end of the drama did everything start to happen. the ending was so abrupt.
i only watched this because zhang bin bin lmao, but the kiss scenes were so cringe and all the toxic friendships/relationships. yea, some areas were entertaining, but when put all together it was too much. the friendship between the 4 girls is so toxic. theres clearly 2 that are closer with eachother and 1 that always feels out. the relationships just confuse me too. i don't want to spoil anything so i won't say anything specific about it, but my point is that this drama isn't worth watching.

AMAZING DRAMA!
i didn't know what i was getting myself into when i watched this drama. i didn't know any of the actors (a surprise right, not even nam joo hyuk), and i had no idea what the drama was going to be about.story:
the story was really interesting, i like the way they incorporate sandbox into the drama. as for the love story, i've seen this storyline twice already so it wasn't super shocking or anything but still pretty interesting.
acting/cast:
UH ALL THE CAST ARE SO ATTRACTIVE (especially nam joo hyuk and kang han na imo) and the acting is great, i love how nam do san is clueless half the time it's so funny.
music:
i didn't really pay attention to the music because i'm not that interested in the music from k dramas, i only really pay attention to the music from wuxia c dramas lolol
rewatch value:
i'd watch this again lolol it was good, i binged it all in 2 ish days
overall:
recommend for anyone who likes romance + an emotional aspect! this also incorporates the difficulties for people who are poor/rich. the first episode and last episode made me literally cry my eyes out. even if you don't like romance, this drama is still really good. it hit on all different levels.

things we're kinda slow at the beginning but the end was super fast
before i start the review...i watched the first 2 episodes and then skipped a bunch because things were just moving so slow i did not feel like watching all the cringey areas. i mainly watched this drama because of gong jun :)
now for the review...
story:
this story is really similar to the drama "put your head on my shoulder". i usually hate modern romance dramas because i'm more of a bl wuxia drama type person, but because of gong jun i watched this through lol. the main male character is a nerd, just like in put your head on my shoulder, and the girl is like playful and clumsy. the last couple of episodes moved so fast, i wanted to see more of their relationship..
SPOILER!!
.. after the breakup. because when they got back together, things felt so different. i prefered their relationship before the breakup :(
acting/cast:
the acting was so good, especially gong jun's facial expressions.
as i said, i mainly watched this because of gong jun haha
the girl got a lot prettier after they got married lol, but that was only during the 30 minute sequel-
music:
the music was kinda repetitive, i never really paid attention to it because i don't really like this type of romance-y music.
rewatch value:
nope i'm not watching this again, i already know what happens, it wasn't that good of a drama, i've seen this storyline before. ex: put your head on my shoulder and skate into love
overall:
if you like romance dramas i recommend, and there's not that much cringey romance in this one which i was really surprised about. also, i realized in some scenes they were literally watching "put your head on my shoulder" on the tv, like the scene where gu wei yi and mo mo kiss with the balloons in the living room lol

I LOVE THIS SHOW SO MUCH
ok well where do i start..story:
the story is intense, keeps you on your toes, but also has so many funny moments that just make you laugh out loud. the chemistry between the 2 main leads is INSANE. i binged this whole show in like 2 days because it was so hard to stop watching. every episode had like a cliffhanger of some sort. when i first started it, i didn't know what to expect because the introduction mentioned "italian mafia", but as i was getting into the 3rd episode that's when i was like holy shit this is so good. the main character is vincenzo cassano (빈센조) and he's from the italian mafia, but he goes to korea to do some things and he meets the residents of geuma plaza (idk if i spelt that right).
acting cast:
as i mentioned, the main leads' chemistry with eachother is amazing, they're both hella attractive and amazing at acting. the actors playing villains were also super super talented!
music:
tbh i didn't pay that much attention to the music, but the music rly made some scenes more intense or funny.
rewatch value:
since i just finished watching it, it'll be a couple months before i want to watch it again, but i probably will in the future! there are some scenes where i had to look away for a couple seconds tho lol
overall:
amazing drama, i hope there is a season 2. this is the 1 from the 3 dramas that i have put 10 stars for, and i've watched a tonn of dramas :)

a teeny bit of spoilers?? i love this drama so much
yall i just finished this, and holy shit it's so good, THEY ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER PROVE ME WRONGthe last couple episodes made me cry my eyes out~
this drama is like a mix of the untamed (the bl concept) and legend of fei (one of them is poisoned/injured and the other main character tries to save them)
highly recommend for people who like wuxia dramas + bl dramas!!
i will be rewatching this in the future but as of right now i need a break from c dramas, although i am looking for more~
if yall have recommendations, my favorite genre ever is wuxia (historical) bl (bromance/boy love) chinese dramas!

wow. so good LOL
i know this is like a remake of the american tv show, but idk i've never watched that one nor do i want to watch itthe story (though technically not original) is so good and enticing, with twists like every episode.
acting/cast
the cast was so cool bruh they all seemed to fit their roles and everything, although i did wish there was more romance between the couple and the other two (iykyk)
music
uh didn't really pay attention, there was some like weird sad music that was confusing me but yeah
rewatch value
i don't really rewatch dramas anyways, so just ignore this rating
overall
amazing drama, really recommend (there is a lot of like guns and shooting and blood in some episodes, so just be aware of that)

really sweet drama, good escape from reality
story:storyline is pretty basic, the only "different" aspect is that the guy is a lot younger than the girl (idk what this is called in english lmao but in chinese we call it 姐弟恋). the events are pretty unrealistic as in the way that the scenarios are too perfect to be true, but nevertheless a good escape from the (maybe) sad reality some people are facing LOL
acting/cast:
jin chen and wang zi yi are both fairly new to the acting industry im assuming, especially wang zi yi because i know him from nine percent, and i know jin chen from a lot of dance related competition shows. i didn't know what to expect in their acting skills, but i was surprised to say the least! it wasn't cringe, the cute moments WERE SO CUTE!! i saw some clips of the behind the scenes of some of the intimate scenes and the acting was so natural. after one of the scenes jin chen even started blushing and hid under the sheets which i thought was so cute.
music:
usually i don't pay attention to the music in modern day dramas, but for some reason these songs were so sweet and catchy. during one of the episodes wang zi yi also sang his single "first sight", which i had already been obsessed with prior to watching this drama so that was a surprise. the main ost is sung by both jin chen and wang zi yi (i think?) and they both sound rly good!
rewatch value:
even though it was a cute little drama, i probably won't rewatch it. i will def come across more scenes on other social medias in the future and might rewatch certain episodes, but probably not the whole drama.
overall:
great drama, i already recommended it to one of my friends who just finished watching a really depressing one LOL (i ended up watching that one, it's called love and redemption). i saved the last episode of this drama to watch after i finished the depressing one and it's a good refresh for my mental health :)

honestly one of the top tier dramas i've watched
i just finished this drama like minutes ago and i need to rant so bare withstory:
the storyline is honestly really complicated with a bunch of plot twists and was a bit difficult to keep up with. the love story was so painful to watch and i can't even count how many times i cried during this drama. the ending was so fast, they squeezed everything into like thirty minutes. i don't really like the fact that they had a kid bc it just steers the attention away from them if there's ever a sequel. this drama was an emotional rollercoaster and if you want to cry, go ahead and watch it.
acting/cast:
i've found a new actor to respect, cheng yi is so good at playing this role, i can always sense the pain and that's what makes me cry lol. i don't really have much opinions on the rest of the cast, besides the fact that the actor who played the older sister is so annoying lmao. i heard she has a drama with cheng yi that is modern and thinking about it makes me uncomfortable.
music:
i mean it's a historical drama, the music will always be good. now i have more songs to add to my "listen if you want to cry" playlist
rewatch value:
i don't think i'll rewatch this just because it was so painful to watch si feng get hurt over and over again. the amount of times i cried out of frustration is just too many. the miscommunication and misunderstandings were so annoying to watch, i don't want to go through that again, even though i know it will be a happy ending.
overall:
again, watch it if you want to cry. i binged this in a couple days and pulled an all-nighter LOL overall great drama. just pretty stressful to watch.

amazing drama (a little bit of spoilers, not rly specific)
i loved this drama so much, i think there’s going to be a season two and i’m so excited for that! the end of season one was so wholesome and it just gave me this sort of closure that most dramas don’t. if season two happens, hopefully there will be just a teeny more romance involved bc so far it has just been some flirty moments ;) kang do chang and his family is so wholesome, i cried watching that last episode with the situation with his sister. somehow i feel proud after finishing this drama, proud of the characters, what they’ve been through (ik that sounds weird af).Was this review helpful to you?
I LOVE THIS SHOW
i watched this drama because i wanted to watch something without romance, AND I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL.story:
the story is amazing, at first i thought it was gonna be kinda like criminal minds, a different case every episode or something, but NOPE it's so good and everything somehow ties together PERFECTLY.
acting:
each actor portrayed their character super well!!
(i'm ngl, even tho i watched this drama because i was tired of watching romance dramas, i kind of wanted a little bit of romance to happen between them.. iykyk)
music:
the music was very intense, which fit the drama very well. i don't really pay attention to music unless it's a wuxia c drama so i'm just not gonna give my opinion on this one lol
rewatch value:
i'm not sure because i literally just finished it, but all i gotta say was that it is an amazing show.
overall:
i loved it! i learned a lot of things about court, the defendant, prosecutor, and i learned a bunch of hangug-eo! everything ties up together very well, and the ending wasn't irritiating (unlike some other dramas that leave us on cliffhangers). now i'm gonna look for more k dramas haha
Was this review helpful to you?
great drama, loved the acting, actors, and personalities!
before i start with the review, i'm just gonna say that i mainly watched this drama because of gong jun lolstory: this drama had a very.. different romance story. usually it's dating and then marriage, but this drama is marriage and then dating. it might not make sense at first, but once you watch the drama, you'll understand! i usually hate hate hate straight romance dramas because i think they're always so cringey (i much prefer wuxia bl dramas), but this one was different. it wasn't cringey at all (although there were some areas where i just felt weird watching it). this drama isn't like high school romance, it's more like people in their 30s. the side romance stories are also so cute!
acting/cast: as i said, i watched this drama mainly because of gong jun, i think he's really good at acting and uh hes attractive lolol.. i didn't know the female lead actor at first, but i really liked how she portrayed the character lu wan ning.
music: i'm not a fan of romantic little songs, so i'm not one to ask abt the ost of this drama haha
rewatch value: eh i wouldn't rewatch it, just because it wasn't THAT good. it was a decent drama but not worth rewatching.
