Disappointing nevertheless entertaining

The drama itself was realistic moreover with the modernization, friends with benefits relationships are no longer unusual. The actors' chemistry are undeniably lovely but with the characters' stories, you'll just also wish for them not to end up. I lost interest in the middle as there were boring parts. I believe that they can shorten the episodes. I understand why they presented a different ending but personally, I hate it. I take it as they promote toxic relationships.

To watch or not to watch? It depends on you. If you hate toxic relationships then you should pass this one.

Could have been better

I was anticipating this drama very much as I love fantasy-themed dramas plus the fact that it has amazing casts.

At first, I got perplexed by their plot. It was difficult for me to understand their world plus the fact that it was fast-paced made me more bewildered. As I decided to watch it until the end I understand what they wanted to portray. However, as I scrutinized while watching I believe that the story does not make sense. They did not make use of the fantasy genre to its full extent. They only bragged that the male lead is a doom and such. It was not explained thoroughly how their world works. So I got no choice but to keep watching and do my best to understand their world but until the end, I did not get any answer.

As I watched the behind the scenes I saw that the director along with the actors and staffs had done their job very well. Because of that, I believe that the way the writer presented the story was not written well which can be done better. I also got to guess what happened in the ending so I was sort of disappointed.

Mediocre

It is very peculiar to have a Philippine and Korean collaboration drama so I am surprised for OCTV to be able to show it off. The production is inferior and there were lots of shortcomings but it's watchable. The script was kinda cliche so there was really nothing to expect on this drama.

The advantage you can get on watching this is you can learn some Filipino words.

If you want to watch a great webdrama then you might be underwhelmed on this. But if you want to watch for fun then it's fine.

Series for solace

Hearing that this drama made lots of viewers cry and me not really into emotional dramas made me thought that I would never be able to watch it. Luckily, I got bored which made me watch it. It is one of the best dramas I have ever watched! A gem!

The drama itself was very unique. I just enjoyed the story and watched earnestly. From the actors, the subplot and the main plot, the production, overall was splendid! It also had humor making the drama quite balanced: having me feel a roller coaster of emotions.

With their wish to remind people to look around and view the world with care (to care for one another), they also reminded me to be good with my loved ones and to keep them in touch.

If you want to have some insights or if you want to be emotional then I highly suggest this one.

Shoddy Romance

If I were to review this drama by the year 2015 when this was released this is one of the best. But then if you were to watch this drama you might not get amazed as many dramas have already evolved surpassing this.

The romance was cliche with the male lead sending away the female lead. I enjoyed the OST but I got tired listening to it as they keep playing the two songs! The thing that made me come thru 'till the end was the very confusing mystery part. I also felt that the actor's voice was monotonous and I didn't saw many emotions in him or maybe it's just the character. But no offense as he is one of the most famous actors.

Unorthodoxy rom-com

While watching the first episode the bgm made me shocked as it was played very well – it made me anticipate the drama to be great. However, as I continuously watched it I got mixed feelings such as hating both main characters' personality. I also lost my interest in watching this as I felt the vibes of the drama titled "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim". I doubted whether I should continue watching it. But then thankfully I continued watching it and it proved to me that I was wrong. It had its own flavor plot-wise, given the fact that it was kinda knowledgeable about houses.

Overall you should check this out if you want to watch a rom-com drama that is not cliche. It gave me lots of fun.

Good but not great

The theme was overall great however they lacked on presenting. The flashbacks were reasonable if you're forgetful (as the episodes were released twice a week) but as I binged watch this I got irritated.

From my standpoint, the romance looked compelled however, they pulled it off on the ending. The actors were impressive especially the main leads and the child actors, they introduced the characters so well.

Many absurd scenes happened about Ha-Ram's blindness but the truth is he is not completely blind instead, he has achromatopsia.

Feel too good you'll dance cha cha cha

At first, I was kinda prejudiced and thought this was overhyped.

I was shocked about the casting and was doubtful as I thought they'll not be able to blend but I was wrong.
The editing was fine except you can notice when they retake some scenes. The shots were also too tight.

Personally, the main leads don't enchant me that much but I can agree they have chemistry.

Even though you're just watching you'll also feel the freshness of Gongjin.

Overall this drama was fantastic and indeed recommended if you want to refresh and feel good.

P.S: You might pass on this one because you'll think that it's just pure Rom-Com but no there's more than that so you better check this drama out.

Fulfilling Finale

If you're contemplating whether to continue the series I recommend this as this is the best and the MUST WATCH part. Especially if you got curious about Kenshin's backstory like me.

The production for the whole series was great! Truly! From the sound effects, visual effects, fight choreography, they were great in all aspects. I was in awe!

As this is fiction I know that the main characters won't die however after seeing them being slashed by the swords countlessly I just can't help but laugh as they keep getting up. I usually watch realistic fictional dramas so seeing those scenes just made me baffled and laugh.

I applaud the whole team and especially Takeru Sato as they worked really hard. Knowing that Takeru Sato made the action scenes by himself made me adore him more.

+ Watching this series made me feel sad for Kenshin but after knowing what happened to the manga it made me pity him more.

Underrated Gem

To be honest I feel that I'm in no position to review this because the basis of this drama happened in real life but I'll still do it as a reference to my future self.

At first, I feel uncertain about the actors but then when I was near the ending they proved themselves that they are excellent. I was enthralled by their acting that whenever I see the title I get sentimental. As a teen, the drama itself was a learning for me, it made my eyes more open when it comes to uprising. Moreover, they showcased diverse perspectives making me perceive such aspects.

MUST WATCH FOR FANTASY LOVERS | ONE OF A KIND

With high expectations before I started, this did not disappoint. As what Ms. Bo Ah said in an interview there was no dead scene as they unite fantasy, action, and melodrama. And that was true, I was not bored for a second - I even rewind some scenes because it was too much to handle lol.

As for their acting, there was no problem at all. All of them were skillfull!! CG + Acting = it was flawless and superb.

The plot was written and executed well. The pace was good, it was not too rapid nor slow; nor crammed (unlike that fantasy drama).

The flashbacks were not irritating. However, I felt that there were some gaps, they just showed the essential events.

As per the characters they were portrayed sufficiently. I comprehend the point of view of each character understanding why they were able to do such decisions.

The music? Mate, they were not joking. There was this BGM and it will keep playing in your mind! The OSTs will also give you the feels after watching the drama I can assure you!

Personally, this is an incredible, terrific, extraordinary, and remarkable drama for me. This pierced my heart! It is now renting my heart for free.

Hilarious entertaining heist

It is great to watch when you're bored or when you just want to have fun. It was a great idea of them to use factual artifacts as it gave knowledge in a way and helped the movie to become less nonsensical.

The color saturation they used wasn't much intense so it felt gloomy and of low quality. Other than that all is great. The pace was perfect, the camera angles were good, and especially the actors, they were very hilarious and all of them blended well with each other.

Side note: The moment I knew it will be about revenge I felt dismay but it did not affect the movie in a bad way.

Overhyped¿

It's overhyped because the title was adapted from a marvelous wattpad story and also because the leading man is Donny Pangilinan, a rising star. However, the series has a typical bully and victim plot. It's indeed cliche but I think it is the first time for a Philippine broadcasting network to film this kind of plot so it was highly anticipated.

Overall, it was great to watch and was made well. The chemistry was fine, as well as the opening theme - I did not like it at first but I enjoyed it eventually.

Well portrayed record of youth

It was great! This type of drama is a gem wherein there's no certain plot and is unpredictable. The main lead was too good to be true and is perfectly matched to Park Bo-Gum's image.

It was nice to see a love story different from what's portrayed usually. It was overall open-minded. They showed various points of view of characters which I commend and covered family, money, dreams, career, friendships, and relationships which composts the youth. It also gave me an idea of the entertainment industry.

The only downside was the sequence: it was confusing as they back and forth to present and past. Moreover, the scenes were not balanced; I got tired of hearing them bicker.

If you'll watch this because of romance then nope — a very big no-no. You might get disappointed because there was no single pint of romantic chemistry so just don't. But if you're into the youth genre then this is well.

Unique // Not for fantasy lovers

I had high hopes because the poster and teaser was great. The exposition was marvelous but they took a different approach of the fantasy genre and sticked to the synopsis so it was disappointing.

However, the plot was great and unique overall. I believe it's enjoyable to those who are not into fantasy. The circumstances were well ployed and the decision-making of the characters were great. Moreover, the deuteragonist story was unique. The actors were great however they looked bad because of the directing. Some scenes can be done better with more intimacy.
