Beautifully showcases the enduring charm and emotional depth of all the seasons

I came into Dr. Romantic initially to watch Ahn Hyo Seop and Lee Sung Kyung, but I stayed for the riveting story and the poignant charm that exudes from the franchise. While I might be a bit biased since I haven't finished the first season and instead dove headfirst into the second and third, I can confidently say that the third season is my favorite so far.

I loved seeing new faces interact with the franchise's veteran characters and the return of some familiar faces from season two. Every episode delivered meaningful life lessons—whether it was about overcoming anxiety, guilt, insecurities, or addressing important issues like understanding one's physical health.

While at its core the show is a medical drama, it does an excellent job of leaving viewers with something to take away beyond the medical cases. The third season, in particular, captured the sense of family within the hospital, bringing the series full circle. Each challenge faced by the staff kept me on the edge of my seat and eagerly awaiting more.

I definitely plan to watch the first season to experience everything in action from the start. The ending of season three was slightly open-ended, and while I’d love to see a fourth season, I’d also be content if this is where the series ends. Dr. Romantic is hands down the best medical K-drama I’ve seen!
