Cute but rushed, unfulfilling, and lazy
Great acting, supported by very cute and adorable moments, let down by mediocre music, and there being no reason to rewatch due to a failed attempt at writing. This "classic" is plagued with poor writing from the start, but it becomes most apparent - painfully so, in fact - when multiple major side stories are entirely abandoned. The super rich and powerful stalker ex? One minor incident in he's in jail, guess he wasn't so powerful after all. The love story with Lee? Apparently all that buildup through the entire drama was pointless since his story ends with rejection and him crying. The main couple? Their big "happily ever after" moment is making their relationship public. No marriage, no wrapping up of the story, just an out-of-the-blue shot making them look as good as possible so that fanatics go "awww" and the story ends right there. Disgustingly lazy, and painfully slow, all for nothing in the end.Was this review helpful to you?
Overhyped and extremely forgettable
The show was at least 4 episodes too long, you can tell they added a lot of nonsensical subplots to make it longer but all it ended up doing was reducing the overall quality of the show. The story took many illogical turns and the ending was terrible. A lot of the positive reviews are incredibly emotions-based, which to an extent is understandable since the cast all do an amazing job. But it doesn't make the story any better, and if you find it gripping and addictive.. well, good for you, but there's far better shows that deserve your attention. Was this review helpful to you?
