I started watching Asian shows in 2018, but it wasn't until mid 2020 that I really got into them. And now over 90% of what I watch and listen to isn't in English. I'm into K-pop and Khh mainly, but I also listen to C-pop and J-pop (always open to recommendations). I'm a Monbebe (Monsta X) and a Wenee (Wonho) but other groups and artists I like are BigBang, BtoB, EXO, Jeff Satur, Kard, Rolling Quartz, Shinee, The Rose and Vixx. I’m into all genres as long as the plot interests me, but romance is my favourite, whether it’s straight or LGBT+. I’m also into crime, mystery and investigation shows. I enjoy shows from all the MDL countries, I love how each country has its own unique aesthetic and storytelling style. What I watch depends on my mood, so my CW always has variety. When picking a show, I focus on the storyline and characters (though a little eye candy doesn’t hurt). Ultimately, it all depends on what I'm in the mood for at the moment. My yearly watchlists: 2024
Likes: happy endings strong female lead well written female characters soft male lead morally grey characters murder/crime investigation possessive male lead historical wuxia and xianxia healthy relationships multidimensional characters and character development bromance and sismance slice of life found family leads with great chemistry (romance or otherwise)	Dislikes: sad endings tragedy amnesia weak and dumb female leads body switching forced romance and unnecessary romance embarrassing scenarios avoidable misunderstandings any kind of abuse mistaken or hidden identities prolonged angst terminal illness characters having lack of common sense

*I only rate shows I've completed. My rating system is based on my subjective opinion and personal enjoyment. Even though I might not enjoy a show, I always think there are redeeming qualities, so I will rarely rate a show 5 or lower.
