Beautiful Story

A perfect ending to an interesting and beautiful executed fictional historial romance drama. The bad guys/gals got what’s coming to them. No killing offof favorite characters. A mostly sensible story with some surprises. Good pacing and acting. Some of the music reminded me of Eternal Love. (10 Miles of Peach Blossoms). A strong intelligent female character who has some instantes of stupidity due to strong emotions. A main male lead that you wish was real. Beautiful scenery, decorated sets and costumes.

PeachBlossomGoddess’s review was spot on. This drama was slow and rediculous in some parts. The blind obedience to the mother is crazy. How a grown man and general puts up with this foolishness is unbelievable. And talk about emotional guilt tripping. This should have stopped at episode 39 or 40. And still we don’t know who killed the FL mother. Does it really matter? Good acting, but the story became boring that you almost longed for more poisonings.
