Had a promising start but ultimately flopped

The drama had a promising start, but from midway through, it started to flop. The plot was somewhat unique. We have all seen couples get to know each other because they team up in the gaming world. But one is not an ordinary Oppa; he's a gangster Oppa. In the beginning, it was quite interesting to see how this gangster and the normal boy would get together. But everything happened quickly, and the plot became quite messy. For instance, it conveys that Wahl is Guy's best friend, but he has more feelings than a friend, though he has a girlfriend. And for Tew and Guy, after a couple of interactions, they got really attracted to each other. especially Tew; his gestures show that he liked Guy from the very beginning. Okay, let's say it's love at first sight.
The other thing is Guy's acting. I acknowledge he's looking good, and I liked his acting in "Ai Long Nhai," though it's not very standard. But here it's crappy and gibberish. I can't stand the way he acts. He needs to improve his acting so much. Or else the director could have changed the actor. We all know that there are many potential actors, but they don't have many chances to show their colours. And this Kenji guy gives psycho vibes. It would have been better if the stylist had changed his hairstyle. It's worse. I hope the ending will be better.

Highly anticipated and had high expectations, but in the end, it's a flop.

It's a fairly good story, but not excellent. In acting, both Perth and Chimon did a very good job. But it would have been better if the writers had done their job well. Since school and youth are the most common topics in BLs, they would have to change the scenes, like when the best friend is being bullied, the protagonist is going to save the BF and become the hero, and the bully has fallen in love with the protagonist because no one has ever meddled with him like that before.
Another reason is that character development is somewhat complicated. Specifically with Kanghan. At the very beginning, he is bullying Sailom, but then he's head over heels for Sailom. But in the open house, Kanghan is in love with Pimfah. And when Sailom confessed his love again, Kanghan fell in love with him. It feels like Kanghan has acute amnesia or something. Then, when his father was shot, he gave Sailom a cold shoulder. And yes, that is understandable, but then he confesses that it's the only way that he can protect him. And it feels like Kanghan has bipolar disorder. The other thing was these stupid primary-level shooting scenes. When Kanghan was shot in the final episode, it was like a firecracker exploded. Is that the danger that they mentioned in the title? When you read the title, it was about toxic relationships or similar concepts. But where is the danger in the story? I couldn't find any danger.

One of the highly disappointing dramas of 2023

I had low anticipation about the drama after watching the trailer, and this drama is a huge failure in 2023. But when I started to watch the drama, the first half was okay and passable, and I wouldn't drop because it's too late, so I watched the whole thing. Before anything else, kudos to Dunk for improving his acting skills. Idk why GMMTV is wasting resources, time, and their actors. Why can't they use the full potential of these actors? And aren't there any writers to write a different plot? It's like copying and pasting the star in my mind with a little twist and a sloppy climax. I hope that in the future they will do their best.

Not good as expected but okay.

Okay, back then, Tokyo in April was nostalgic when I was with him, and now Tokyo in April is Ren. I get nostalgic throughout the drama. I tried this drama because of the synopsis, but in reality, it hasn't given me the wow effect at all. First, I don't understand why they emphasize that particular actor in the drama. At first, I understood that because of his misbehavior, the company lost its marketing strategy. But that actor appeared again, and this time I thought this actor had to do something with the main leads. In the end, there is no connection; it's pointless. Then their acting is not crap but disappointing. In some scenes, they hug each other with their arms, but their hands hang like withered flowers. Lastly, the first seven episodes are all about their loneliness, miseries, and traumas, but in the last episode, everything gets solved quickly. Kazuma's mom is okay, Sanda is arrested, and Kazuma and Ren are happily ever after. This is not what I actually expected from the last episode. If you want to experience nostalgic feelings, give it a try. It's okay because it successfully evoked nostalgic feelings throughout the drama.

Fresh Plot and Good for Horror, Mystery, Psychological, and Suspense

I love to see new pairings and new plots because they're adventurous and mysterious. As for myself, I was frustrated because of the same or lame story plots. But this is quite a fresh plot and good for horror, mystery, psychological, and thriller genre lovers, but not that terrifying. We all know that Singto and Fluke are well-known actors in the Thai entertainment industry. Of course, their acting in Shadow is superior. Their chemistry was okay, but there were no sparks. I think this is because both of them are acting calmly. The drama itself is a Pandora box. Because when you start to watch the drama, it feels like every character is somehow hiding something from the world. Specifically, you cannot identify who is the white or black character in the drama, though they include villains. Somehow, the main or minor characters tangled with the unsolved mystery. And the setting of the drama is quite unique because everything happened at a missionary school. Because within Christianity, there are a variety of views on sexual orientation and homosexuality, which raises a high level of doubt about a happy ending.

Time solved everything

I started to watch this drama because of Krist, but in the end, I fell for Gawin. In 2023, GMMTV had many BL dramas, and I watched everything. And this is one of the best dramas on GMMTV. At the very beginning of the trailer, I was excited because it's a fresh plot and a new pairing. But the production changed Mike to Gawin, and I was disappointed. The other thing was that, though it's a new pairing, I was loyal to Singto and Kris, though there is no future for this pairing. But after watching the first episode, I was ecstatic because it was not the same copy-and-paste plot and time travel, which is brand new. And the new pairing was awesome. They had the chemistry, good acting, and body language that made me sit through illogical plots and make the drama even more addicting. As a couple, they brought out their understanding of each other so well. I could describe their relationship as comic, inevitable, fiery, jeoulous, and mature. All their scenes together highlighted their amazing chemistry. They complimented each other perfectly, whether they were in love or fighting with each other. The character Kawi, on the other hand, was annoying. I was wondering why he cannot see or feel the feelings of Pisaeng, and the obvious answer is that writers want the Kawi to grow throughout the drama. Typically, this means moving from a worse person to a better person. Meanwhile, Pisaeng delivered an emotional roller coaster, which made me fall head over heels for Gawin. But in the end, he gave up and left Kawi.Though I never believed "time will solve everything," it did. This story path is not a flower road. There are many obstacles that test their love and affection, and it was heartbreaking to see fate testing their love for each other. "As time goes on, you'll understand. What lasts, lasts; what doesn't, doesn't. Time solves most things, and what most time can't solve, you have  to."Time solved everything. The writer used each and every character to develop main characters, and each minor character had an ending without vanishing into the air after building a happy ending for Pisaeng and Kawi.Actually, I'm so glad that this drama is not only focused on romance. Recently, I learned many life lessons from this drama. Mainly, it addresses common insecurities, overthinking, and different aspects regarding the LGBTQ community. Not only was it a drama, but it also taught me many life lessons.

Another masterpiece from GMMTV

When you wake up in the morning, the whole world is against you. Labelled you as a criminal; no one is willing to give you a chance to get on your own two feet. Huge debt; lost the only family. Fighting alone on the battlefield is the only way to survive every single day.

Close your eyes and open them again. Those of us who have the luxury of seeing the world for granted get to pick when we think about seeing the world and our loved ones: do what we want, walk freely, or run. Every step is a battle, a victory, and a terrible reminder that you are suddenly blind. Only 10 hours per day can you see the world.

But fate brought these two people together. (And Little Day and Big Mhok, too.)

BOOM! and that plot works. Ladies and gentlemen, Beware of the emotional roller coaster in the future.
Excellent delivery to the audience because I can feel every inch of emotion from each and every character. The actors did a great job because acting felt realistic, especially in Jimmy and Sea. Because when the acting is compared to the series Vice Versa, it is more realistic, mature, and polar opposite from what we have seen, and the main leads have shown their full potential and capabilities.
The CG in the opening parts was a thoughtful idea. Since most of the audience does not have medical expertise, literally, you can get an idea of how Day sees the world every day within a single span. And how can a normal person see the world?
At first, I was wondering why they were using quotations from Little Prince. But it really works. Kudos to whoever gave the idea. All it gives is a secret message and inner feelings of Day to the audience.
So far, it's an excellent drama. I hope this won't make me disappointed.

Farce

If you are here because of the Bed Friend then,

Uea, the kitten -----> Uea, the lion
King, the Wolf -----> King, the puppy
Lmao, King lost his groovy, and now he looks like a lost puppy.
They tried to create vice versa of the Bed Friend and make the feeling the same people but a different story. And that they added too many satirical scenes and lines. Some scenes don't make any sense, sometimes you may feel like whether you should laugh or not, and some scenes give you an inner dilemma like 'what just happened?'. Still 7 eps to leftefe. Hope for the best.

Not the same cherry magic from Japan ??

Cherry Magic is one of my favourite BLs of all time and one of the most prominent in Japanese BL dramas. Most importantly, the plot is unique and refreshing. The plot is about discovering an ability to read minds when touched, adding an intriguing supernatural element to the romantic narrative. This element injects freshness into the storyline, keeping viewers engaged. However, in the Japanese version, Cherry Magic was criticised because of the pacing of the story line, but the Thai version is way more fast-forward and the plot is somewhat predictable. When you first started to watch the series, you could clearly tell that this was the Thai version of Cherry Magic. From the transport mode to the interior design, it screams that this is the Thai version. Which is really good. But I would prefer if they would select Thai cuisine instead of using Japanese. If both versions were compared, both versions revealed a mix of sincerity and humour. As in the Japanese version, the Thai version notably portrays the exploration of self-acceptance and the journey towards love.As you may have noticed, in the Thai version, most of the time it focuses on humour more than in the Japanese version, and it provides comic relief without overshadowing the emotional core. The comedic elements and indirect satire are well timed, enhancing the overall viewing experience of the viewers. For instance, the dish Morning Glory is stir-fried water spinach, which means the water spinach is withered. In character, in the Japanese version, Adachi is way more introverted than Archie in the Thai version. Archie is talkative; show his emotions rather than Adachi. But I was frustrated in the first two episodes because Tay didn't get many lines when he actually spoke about office-related matters. All he has to do is show his facial expressions and build the storyline through his inner feelings when Archie touches him. I hope that in future episodes he will get some time to speak face-to-face. And the supporting characters in the Thai version are more profound, engaging, helpful for character development, and funny. There are some scenes that don't make any sense. For instance, in episode 1, when Archie screams in the train, people were like, Who is this weirdo? It's way more unrealistic. And I'm not fluent in Japanese or Thai. After watching too many series, I can identify these two languages. But when the boss started to talk, I couldn't detect which language he was using. That's a bit confusing. The Thai version of "Cherry Magic" is as commendable as the Japanese drama and offers an engaging experience for viewers of heartwarming BL drama. I love the first two episodes very much. I hope this series won't be another disappointing work by GMMTV.
