This drama is the proof on how words can affect people so much, either in a good or bad way - they have so much impact and we often do not realise it.
This series made me rethink many of my past mistakes but also sad past moments that I went through; and i think they wrapped up some very serious issues such a good way.
What is to remember is that no matter how hard life may be, it is not the end - we have so much more to see, discover, understand, meeting new persons that will impact our life some ways. It will not always be just good moments, we may be sad, angry, mad, empty of feelings; but we will also be joyful, happy and full of hope.
Everything will get better, you just need some time and a bit of help.
This also do show that even when they helped people from committing, it does not mean they will be fine right after - they are still on the list and watched and will slowly recover and live a better life. You also get attached to each characters easily, each are unique in their own ways with different stories.
This show is definitely worth watching, prepare tissues as well - cried during each episodes.

A Complete Drama

Story ~ This drama may not be a bl contrary to the novel it is from but the chemistry between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan is honestly very heart warming and beautiful.
The story is really well, I watched it when it came out while the rating were really low from fans of the novel but watching this show really is a good decision. The number of episodes seem like a lot but it is needed, the plot can be complex to understand and it helps settings backgrounds and introducing the characters well. This show will take you on an adventure between action, battles with powers with friendships and love.
-> The storyline is well-paced, exciting and balanced, setting a solid foundation for the show to build upon.

Acting ~ I really have to applause both Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo for their incredible acting. Zhan is bringing Wei Wuxian's joyful, playful and lively personality to life, he is easy to like and understand. Yibo had a more complex characters to play, Lan Zhan shows less emotion, and tougher personality but the way he succeed to convey with his eyes is amazing
I could talk about Yu Bin who played Wen Ning, who needed to act two personality, a very lovely and weak sweet boy but also a strong and though man who is loyal in both aspect.

Music ~As a musician I have to say, I deeply fell in love with Wuxian, this melody is beautiful and means so much for both Lan Zhan and Wei Ying

Rewatch Value ~ As I writing this, it is the end of December 2021. Years after the drama was released and when i first watched it. I have watched this drama so many times I have count; I really enjoyed the story, the characters and all the details and efforts the Directors put into this drama.

Overall is a 10/10 - this drama will touch you.

Broke my heart again

I cried again, Its probably my second time watching this drama and i cried just as much as the first time. the story is just so beautiful, definitely a must watch for everyone. I really love the red strings myth a lot, just means so much in this story line and their story in general; i found it really beautiful as much as it also hurts.
The actors are incredibly good, also for a side story for Team and Win, they just get along so well and would totally make a great story as well and their couple is really cute. (update: Between Us coming soon)
The acting of each characters are really good, the chemistry between the couple is beautiful
Those flashback cuts are heartbreaking but adds so much to this drama, they're so loving and you just cannot not appreciate their love to each others
Looking forward for more work from each of them !

Win or Lose it all

I watched this show when it came out from everyone talking about it, they seemed to enjoy it a lot so i did watched it too.
I have to say the story line is very interesting, win money by playing childhood games.
All these persons in needs need money and they are really to do anything to get it, even getting eliminated as the drama says.
The more you see money at your reach the more you want to get it, they just kept on going, no matter what!
The acting is really great! All the different characters are really unique to get to know and follow.
The games were also chose as a way to make them easy for everyone to understand them so we can focus on the rest of the story and the characters.
Although I really liked the drama, I do have to say that I am not a big fan of the ending and which for something different.

What am I watching ?

First episode commentary - no sorry

-The introduction of the characters was really not the best, especially Kim's. Kim was presented as such a hardworking type, fine while also being heartbroken - but now we see him as someone pathetic, getting drunk while spying on his crush. Seriously ?
- Everything is very random: they way scenes are put together, to the slow motions, the music and sound effects - just the overall editing.
- The acting is making me laugh, especially when in bed - I am so sorry but what is that face man
- Why are the damn colours so dead and toned down? It makes the quality lower than it actually is. I don't know, i supposed they were going for sultry/mysterious vibes but what is giving is funeral and depression.
- The colours are so toned down, too much to feel kinda mysterious in a way
- The only person I am happy to see is Sammy! She's just a queen and no one can say otherwise.
- Is Kim an ugly crier or he just can't act? can't tell at this point.
- The mafia aspect is okay, for now..
- The chemistry between Kamol and Kim is none existent - sadly no sparks but they do look good.

- The limo arrival scene - our boy was mobbed by 3 little paparazzis.
- The dam bathroom talk... could you please turn off that damn faucet !! or is that too much to ask ? ?
- No consent ? like I know it is mafia but in BDSM you need consent and be careful of everything.
- That tattoo and robes thing... why is it so ugly ?
- The bed scene: Kim's reactions are kinda exaggerated, like you just started with a bit of wax and he already in heaven or whatever ? no, sorry. The kisses are the definition of kissing a wall.
- The whip, we need to talk about. It is supposed to be giving pain but boy is barely touching him, even a cat could do a better job. Plus, I'm going to say this again but why that face ? I was crying of laughing at this point


My final thoughts: it was trashy, very awkward and not even entertaining when I had high hopes - I will still try watching it because we never know. This could have worked as a satire without needing any changes, I really could not take this seriously.
Please keep in mind, this is just MY opinion and thoughts (actually shared with a friend of mine), yes I did rate it a 1.
