Its tough because I am a big Johnny fan.....
He has actors from same agency that always are apart of his dramas but i feel this drama & 'My Dear Guardian' endings have not been the best for him & has allowed other actors to really outperform both him & his female leads....

They built up the charisma soo much from the bad guys in both dramas that there could of been a way to end both dramas that would of been satisfactory to himself, the villains plus the audience, but its always an ending that the good guys have to beat the bad guys..... seriously it doesnt always have to be this case....

In 'My Dear Gaurdian'.... the villain Nie Zi Hao was beaten in a fight & arrested then sentenced to death.... There was a female second lead Yang Shu would loved him but he didn't love her.... my ending for that would of been she broke him out of prison somehow, then ran away together, he totally convinced she cares for him & conclude that drama..... Yang Shu was more interesting female lead that Qin Li in that drama.

This drama again the support Yang Shu for me stole the show along with Tony Yang.... I loved both these criminals in the roles they played.... again, instead of killing Yang Shu & Tony Tang ending up in jail.... best ending the Zhao family all goes down but these 2 escape together, she also cared for him too.... best ending....

Sorry Johnny, you have excellent support actress in your agency Yang Shu but she is outperforming your female leads & anyone who she cares for in the same dramas who is your counterpart, the effect is allowing those guys to out perform you!
