I am a big Gao Hanyu fan but unless your favourites are say Top 20 these things happen....

1. You have to compromise to mediocre scripts....
2. You will be a lead in a low budget drama.....
which will have limited creativity due to the low budget....
3. Unknown Cast & inexperienced cast....
4. As Male Lead with a decent profile but not major profile you will be given a Female Lead with very low profile....

I have no problems with the acting just the script and story.... Actors did their best which was keeping me watching for 3 episodes but I think honestly given what they had this is as good as they can do.... No way this keeps anyone watching for 30-40 episodes....

Gao Hanyu is still a good actor. I have completed many of his dramas.... Song Yan Fei as Female Lead was ok, no problems with her, she has been in ok dramas in the past just like Gao Hanyu, not a massive profile....

I hope see these 2 again as leads in a drama with a better, more entertaining, more creative story/script....
