If you watch this BL expecting explicit scenes, you'll be left wanting. I'm assuming the cause for the rating is due to the self harm in the storyline, because there's definitely not any nudity or truly intimate scenes. That being said, you don't get a feeling that anything is missing in that regard. While the ending does leave you a bit unsatisfied, the majority of the story is well done.
