Some things just go together, like Pat and Pran
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but after being on this ride for 3 months I felt it necessary. This BL is far above the rest. It is a huge breath of fresh air with how positive and healthy the relationship is. This is one you will not regret watching. This will set the new benchmark for any BL to come after this.I have never had a show have me waiting every single week with high anticipation for the episode to be released. I have never had a show keep me up the night before the final episode like this one. I was terrified that Pat and Pran would be torn apart. I was terrified that they would suddenly turn toxic.
Instead of turning toxic, they communicate with each other, they come up with plans with each other. They don't completely devote all of their time to each other they focus on their own goals, which is healthy!!!
I am usually one to hate time jumps, this is the only time jump that I've ever thoroughly enjoyed. Hats off to P'Aof for delivering an absolutely perfect series, not just for the BL world, but for the drama world.
To fake a break up for 4 years takes dedication, it was refreshing to see that even at the end the parents knew they couldn't keep them apart. So while the boys thought they were still a secret their parents knew the whole time!

Slow burn at it's finest
If you don't like SLOW BURN, this title is not for you. This show depicts what can really happen in REAL relationships. And a lot of people don't want that in a show. They want rainbows and cute. This is not that show. This is raw and complicated. It's got relationships that evolve in drastically different ways.
I waited years for this. Was it perfect? No. Is any show perfect? No.
I've been watching bl for a long time, and the efforts put in by the cast are evident.
The plot follows the novel "hemp rope" if you haven't read it, please do.
SPOILERS FROM HERE:
Win and Team start out as FWB, which leads to a situationship. Feelings were never supposed to happen. They both suffer from losses and traumas of different kinds, leading them to irrational fears. Their back and forth and anxiety were spot on to what my husband and I went through. (TMI, sorry)
Bee and prince (not in the novel) were a good reminder that actors have lives outside of their work.
Pruek and Manaow have virtually nothing standing in their way.
Waan and Tul are complicated bc what starts as friends ends in secrets and misunderstandings.
Between Us, despite the ups and downs with production, the acting is incredible. The plot has holes, but not big enough to care.
The actors:
Boun and Prem put their everything into this show, and it's evident. Boun suffered inner ear injuries, and Prem hurt his back.
Am I biased? Probably, but I can say I connected with the characters deeply.

I cant think of a title for this
If you haven't seen this series, I hope you read this. This entire series is a TRIGGER WARNING. Don't just go into this like I did thinking "Oh wow those are some HOT NC scenes" It's not worth it. I wanted to like this series... but it's challenging given how much SA and toxicity are in it. There is nothing healthy about their relationship. I don't tell anyone to watch this. Ever. It is full of triggers, homophobia, transphobia; the list goes on and on. Just because he changed his heart of the one person doesn't mean he can continue to be homophobic... like, COME ON. I really hope we can move past this in all future series from now on.Was this review helpful to you?
Why isn't this being talked about??
I started this late because frankly... I didn't realize it existed. The story is quite unique and I'm here for it. People should be talking about this more and watching it more. The acting is too notch and the casting was superb. The younger vs older casting was done so well. I can't praise it enough.
It is a little slow to start, but it gets really interesting the more you learn their back stories, epsecially around episode 4 when one of my favorites is introduced. Give it a chance! You might end up really liking it!

It's Not great, but not terrible either
It's cute. A little frustrating, but overall cute. It's funny and a little cringe at some points, but I did enjoy it.Could it have been better? Of course, but I'm not going to say how or why since it doesn't matter anyway.
The way the story unfolds as a typical BL plot. It can be pretty problematic at times with secret feelings all over the place, and hidden relationships, though this is the first time I've seen setting with call girls 😅
TW attempted r@pe. which was unnecessary.
My favorite characters other than the mains?
Chon's mom, she will BEAT YO A$$ for talking about TonChon in any bad way 😂😍
Na, he's honest af. He annoyed me at first, but he grew on me haha
Miriam, this girl went ABOVE AND BEYOND for all of those boys like we all need a Miriam in our lives. She'll be your pretend girlfriend/wifey, stand up to your BF's crazy ex. And when the truth comes out and now she just has 5 hubbies she'd go up to bat for any day lol
Worst Character? You'll see. There's only the one B
