This is the best Republican Chinese genre that I've watched. The music/ osts really goes smoothly well with the drama. The actors and actresses knows how to act their role excellently. I was hoping for Feng Tianyi to survive in the end, didn't expect that he'd die. Although he died, I wasn't expecting Tingyao to be just like Feng Tianyi. It would be better if they atleast live together happily and rule to government, they didn't even had a child or get married at least. It's such a pessimistic and a depressing story, but I still love it. For those who like Chinese Republican pessimistic genre, this would be perfect for you, ready your tissues beside you. :( (:
