Just Why?

I need to understand what the point of killing every character was. Ok I was fine with salt dying (Not really) because I thought it would be relevant to the plot , also the plot twist with the headmaster killing salt it was a case where he dug his own grave as if he didn't kill salt he would still be alive, still have a job and many many lives would've been saved I shan't argue on this, there was just no point but lets say it was for the sake of the plot. The thing that really bothered me was the end more specifically Sakura's death, there was no point in her dying she could've survived and gone to prison for a decade or so there really was no point in her shooting at the cops None whatsoever...… None.... I mean did she really think that all of her friends and comrades were happy with her wasting her life after all of that... I'm actually mad again. Someone anyone please I don't even know at this point. On this end note I will leave all the readers with one question. Why?
