SHORT, WARM, SWEET, REALISTIC
This very short drama tells the story of two best friends where one secretly loves the other.STORY:
The story is very realistic where many can relate. Unrequited love to your childhood friend but you’re too scared for them to know because staying just friends is better than losing that person, this is the situation portrayed by the male lead. The pacing of the story is very well executed, It’s not fast but not slow that you get to see the dynamic of the characters very well. It started with establishing the background of the story starting with the friendship then comes the unrequited love. You can see the sides of both character and understand how they feel which I think is the goal of this drama. Then comes the realization part which gives the story two endings where they’ll end up together or not. I liked that it showed struggles in both end but it gave a very sweet, simple but clear ending.
CHARACTERS:
I love both characters. they have very realistic arc where one person can relate.
REWATCH VALUE:
I will definitely rewatch this series. I like the warmth I felt watching this.

COMEDIC HISTORICAL DRAMA WITH SOME ROMANCE.
Moonshine is a liquor produced illegally. In this drama, the king prohibited drinking and making liquor and the story revolves there. This drama has a unique topic compared to other historical dramas which makes it interesting.STORY:
While the drama is a comedy type, there are some serious moments that deals with politics, problems of people and survival during that time. The story is quite interesting and the first few episode seems promising. The pacing at first is really good as well, the characters were introduced nicely and there’s a hint for a little mystery to come that made the drama very engaging. but as it goes on I feel like its losing my interest to the point that I stopped watching it and just finished it to know the twist. The story revolves too much about the alcohol (especially around the middle part, but it gets better during the last episodes) more than the other elements of the plot. Still, I love the showcase of strong female characters and friendship, character growth, villains, and romance.
CHARACTERS:
I really like the characters and I’ve seen major growth throughout the drama especially with the prince. He has a very realistic character, he gets scared which is very natural for anyone in his situation but still chooses to do what’s right in the end. Also Nam young, he seems very strict with his principles but throughout the story he showed that doing right isn’t always following what’s proper. I do like Ro seo as she showed strength being a female in that time and situation, though sometimes her character seems to be a bit draggy. I think that her and the main lead lacks so much chemistry. Even with the story of romance mostly revolving around them feels draggy. Even with the prince who liked her at first, there is no chemistry. The one with more chemistry would be the second leads. I really liked her character (Ae jin) and even from the start you can feel how strong the chemistry is with her and the prince. Sadly they don't have more scenes.
REWATCH VALUE:
I enjoyed the romance (second lead), there is a good mystery (plot twist), and funny scenes. I do recommend the drama but I personally wouldn’t rewatch.

CLICHÉ CONTRACT RELATIONSHIP TO REAL RELATIONSHIP DRAMA
There are times I enjoy very cliché plots, especially if it’s made very well. Although this is not the best of this type of story I have watched, I can say that it has its good parts.STORY:
Two people enter a contract relationship for some reason and then realize that they love each other. The plot is actually simple but somehow there are confusing parts. One is the male lead, I don’t think his reason for getting married is as strange as it’s portrayed. I do get his side but what I do not like is how naïve his character is and it’s a little frustrating. Also, there’s too much misunderstandings that the flow of the story seems to focus more on conflicts.
The ending is not my favorite, I feel like it could ended better. Up until the end there’s still lack of communication. It could have been simple and a cute moment but it wasn’t. Also, I feel like the main leads lacked in chemistry which is disappointing because at first I think they have a bit and expected a build-up throughout the story.
ACTING/CAST:
The actors did well (main and supporting), I think that they’ve embodied there character. The male lead being an introvert, very straight to the point person, very naïve (frustrating) who wanted to be married as a camouflage (so he can continue loving someone he cannot love). The female lead who is a warm hearted woman and very passionate in her career.
In terms of supporting characters, I liked that they have a story outside the plot, but for a 10 episode drama I think that some of these story wasn’t executed properly instead they become a distraction. A character I like though is the sister-in-law. I like her at first and then I didn’t and when I got to know her side I understand. I feel like her story and choices would give a lesson to the viewers that sometimes it takes more than love to be somewhere you want in life.
REWATCH VALUE:
The drama has some cute moments and I think that it’s worth a watch. I am glad I watched it and I do recommend it but I don’t think I would rewatch.

A good live-action adaptation.
I had watched the anime version and I could say that it’s very similar, It's literally bringing the anime to life which is always fun.STORY:
In 2019 they released the first live-action movie and in this series they feature some parts that are not in the movie. It's very similar to the anime so if you have watched and liked the anime you'll definitely like this one.
ACTING/CAST:
I may be biased because I really like the two main leads (Hirano Sho and Hashimoto Kanna) as I’ve watched them from other dramas. The acting was good, I can really see the characters from the main leads but they made it their own. They also have really good chemistry. I think the supporting actors did good as well.
REWATCH VALUE:
This is a romantic comedy, splice of life, school, teenage/youth type of drama. It’s very light and cute which is always good to rewatch.
