SBS Is okay with Mental and Verbal abuse...?

Its amazingly sad how at this point in time at just TWO Episodes in i cant wait to see the movie/show ratings of upcoming dramas/movies on the actors ends or even the Black Oceans and no applauding that is gonna happen from the idols upcoming concerts just cause of these grown adults actions toward these young men just trying to make their way. Like if i had the money to go to a StayC concert, you bet your booty id start a boycott for the crowd NOT to clap and cheer or even to scream "We shouldn't applaud in support cause its childish". Schedules/Concerts/Shows or Training... you applaud people out of respect for the hard work they do... why would you expect any praise from anyone after treating another human being like that and EVEN WORSE a group of young apprising artists/idols. Double standards are wrong, Harsh and Cruel statements are WRONG!!! Using gaslighting, mental diversion/manipulation or making someone to feel they have done wrong by speaking out IS WRONG!!! That is not teaching them hard work or how to be determined, its straight up cruel and inhumane.

I feel so bad for Sun Ying Hao for having to sit there watching the torment they were putting them through and then trying to stop what was happening, only in turn to have Lee Seung Gi take it upon himself to shame him for speaking out, telling him that basically in a "concert" dancing for an hour straight with basically NO BREAK is what happens (not) and that his burst out would have caused the fans/audience to miss their "hard work and eager" performance cause he disrupted their flow. Also claiming that what we watched is what EVERYONE wants to see... Like tf no we don't. We don't want to see a bunch of adult senior idols (actors) tormenting young dreamers and calling it "Guiding/Mentoring/Teaching". Even more so cause half that panel of judges have been harassed and bashed before and some even in recent years by their companies, media's and in some cases group mates. It's even more horrible knowing that one of them had a LAW put in order in his honor to protect young celebrities and trainees from having to suffer the same things he did. It was just sad to see him be put in place like that and not ONE of those judges have even a little bit of a heart to jump in. The fact the he said " I'm sorry for my implusiveness" broke my heart cause he wasn't wrong!!!!

Like tf is wrong with people...? They are human beings, not soulless machines that work the way you want at the push of a button JUST cause you say to. I get wanting to test their metal and what they can do, but there were SO MANY other ways to do it without mentally hurting them or potentially crushing them from even wanting to try with false statements of "Thats how this works" or "this is what is expected" when its REALLY NOT.

Scripted or not... this show is everything that is wrong with todays world, its uncomfortable and cruel cause there are judges there that have faced situations in the past with companies that HAVE DONE THE SAME things to them and they are willing to do it to another person just cause a producer wrote it down on a piece of paper for MORE views and ratings. They do deserve the backlash [D**th threats are pushing it just a bit to far though cause that is just being extreme] but yeah they deserve to be called out for sitting there and doing nothing to fix the problem BEFORE it became one. This is not judging or mentoring and it makes me sick that they are even called Guiders when they ARENT. They are Bullies thanks to the greed of producers and staff pushing the narrative to be CRUEL instead of just using PROPER judging skills to evaluate someone's performance.

NO i am not sorry to post this or be this cruel about it cause again WHETHER SCRIPTED OR NOT, they did not take the ball in their own court to be sensible and respectful to humans just trying their best. They were cruel, rude, inhumane and nasty simply cause a piece of paper said to be [IF that was how it even happened, cause if they did so without the script THAT is even worse and I even more so don't feel sorry for my review AT ALL] So take it as this, this is my FULL opinion on the matter and yea it wont change. I wouldn't give the show even half of one star but seems I couldnt post this unless I did. I stand with Sun Ying Hao for being brave enough to speak out and Ivan for pushing even though he was having a hard time and after Episode 2, I literally cant stomach anymore of this show even if they did correct their mistakes or change how it is ran. I will happily be giving my votes to Sun Ying Hao simply just cause he did something that a lot trainees WOULDN'T have done and spoke his feelings honestly. If other continue to watch it, cool but I refuse to give live watch ratings and audience numbers to a Show that is okay with verbally and mentally abusing young people for ratings and views. Which is funny cause they will cancel people's careers for just Bullying others in high school but openly show it on public tv and it's totally okay.... The difference is I choose not to subject myself to Bully School 101. I can watch the clips on YouTube and still support the hard work of the boys from there and with my votes.

It's a Hmm Moment...

Ah so here we go.. first off I want to make known to those who will read this. If you are reading my review to have an in depth description of the pros and cons about this drama you will not find that here. I'm simply here to give MY overall opinion on the drama and how I felt about its ride through the story to the ending. Keep in mind that I rarely do reviews on here but for this one I really wanted to give kinda my own experience on it.

Starting off this drama really had my attention cause of the Era and all around genre built around it. This Era in Chinese history was one of my most favorites and sadly I haven't found MANY dramas that fall in this Era so I came into this one really excited. Now I don't want to say I disliked this Drama and I don't but honestly not as a whole it just fell a little. Would I still recommend it yes, however I would warn based off my own experience if you are someone that loves a drama with a strong start but dislikes when it starts to shift at the middle and kinda fall into a muddled slow pace than you won't like it. Honestly just watch clips of the first half of the drama cause anything after it just falls short of what you would expect.

Now that's my opinion someone else's might differ. If you are a true fan through and through that's good, it means you found something in it you liked and no one should tell you how to feel, however humans all differ in different styles and what we enjoy, that's how it should be. But back to the point, the whole story did keep me kinda strung in even though it was a little muddled at the middle and end for me. I do love Shen and MiLan so I wanted to stay and see how they developed and grew together. I mean Shen was kinda like Chinese version of Van helsing (the anime version) for me cause his personality when he would bring down the human veil became more nonchalant in a way. Also his brother is a badass, a little crazy perhaps but who doesn't love a good old fashion psycho with a love string for a pretty girl. Some other characters I was fond of was Liang, a little bit of a rat but compared to a lot of characters you see like him he wasnt terrible and then the mysterious Mo character. He confused me a little but you don't get the see much of him either sadly. Still an interesting man he was.

How the ending happened though was a real kicker for me... I didn't like it cause it left to many questions and I've come to a conclusion through watching many historical or old date Chinese shows that it will end in one of two ways. The female lead Sacrificing herself for the solution or the man they love dying to end the problem. I still have yet to find a old style Chinese show where the lead couple just get to live in happiness together and it's always very sad. As I said still have yet to find, maybe one day I will or someone will suggest one.

My all over opinion on this show is really that it is good, it's just the ending is where I would have liked to see some more background or more clear actions, maybe even a happy walk in their new life together instead of the muddled mess it became. Maybe there will be a second part that starts off in a better light who knows. It could very well happen with how open the ending ended. Only time will tell.

But as stated please keep in mind that this is thoroughly just my views on some things I wanted to talk about and I'm always open to comments that want to talk about it but if your commenting to pick a knot at my opinion and to fight my way of thinking I will not acknowledge or comment back. In exact terms comment with the intent to talk not fight ❤

I can't say I hated it!!!

Okay so I'm gonna be spitting some real facts here.
Overall the show was everything I expected it to be. Was it perfect... hell no but on a OVERALL look is was pretty damn good. I feel the actors were pretty well picked for what the drama was, chemistry could have been better and a little more organized but they did well for what was selected. The music wasn't to much my favorite but it was unique so it was nice to listen to. The story wasn't actually to bad, patchy and some things I feel were rushed or repeated but that's not to say it was all bad. Maybe stretched through a couple more episodes with better details would have been better but for what it was... I laughed, I cried, and I did here and there get the wow factors. The ending hurt my soul cause it left a lot of room for improvement but also left me with a lot of questions like... "Will he come back in the time she is alive?" "Will she die in the current lifetime and than both their times reset be able to meet in the next life?" "Will there be more to tell from this point if another season comes?" .. like he's standing on the balacony but it's like NO ONE looked to see him, there was no interaction so was she just SEEING HIM or had he come back already. There was no time skips to confirm any of the questions I asked myself above, there was nothing to move off of. You just see him there and her looking then that is it... it was a little cliff hangerish and boring... there was no progression... so idk it was just kinda really sad than Bleh. But my overall opinion does stand that for what the show was it wasn't bad, I would without a doubt watch it again and still rate it a 10 cause it does still have that rewatch value for sure.

This Review is 100% me gushing ☺

Yea I got nothing to say other than the fact is I'm crying at the fact it's over... I'm crying at the ending cause I think my soul died a little and most all I'm crying cause now my weekends are gonna be boring as heck. I really wanted this to never end.... that's literally all I have to say on this. It was just spectacular... the only thing bad about this show... IS THAT IT IS ENDING T-T if I had to go full detail on how I felt about this show... I think I would need a 1200 page book (little exaggerated but I mean I really am just star struck) All I can say is a 10/10 recommend (I've already rewatched the first season like 10 times) the rewatch value on this show is totally there and the actor choices were legit perfect for the roles. Loved this so so so much!!! I really just want another season, I need another season ?

Easily one of my favorites!

So I'm honestly gonna keep it brief cause haha I suck at making to much detailed reviews. But I will give my up most honest and as complete as possible feedback. So in terms of storyline, I can say out of most shows Ive watched that follow this era and theme, it's easily climbed my top three favorites. The story was pretty complete and kept my attention, even at the beginning while everything was still unfolding. The skips in time I felt were very well placed and didn't leave to much to wonder, they didnt come at akward places where it would cause confusion or I mean I didn't for me it everything works different for others. The actors I felt were very well picked, they fit the appearance, themes and personalities quite well so I can't complain to much there. The rewatch value... oh boy, it's there, it's a show I could VERY easily watch again. . . however the ending was definitely not the ending I expected or was wishing for. It was a very bittersweet ending, it very much made my heart ache and my stomach sore from the amount of tears I had to hold back for I would have cried loud enough to wake my entire household haha. Despite its ending through I can be honest enough on just how much visual value this show has. The romance wasn't over bearing, the family drama was believable, not to much and it had enough comedy, I have more than enough funny lines to remember and laugh at. All around I feel it was a very balance show that still made me cry more than a few times and I very highly recommend it to anyone that just loves a good old fashioned historical Korean Drama. Overall I still would give it a 10 out of 10

Very Dry Ending

So my overall impression of this wasn't bad.. but the ending was not what I expected... though on another note it was MORE realistic than I thought it was gonna be. Also my attention was caught for this show mostly only cause Chang Wook was in it and he's very nice to look at. The story was good for what it was though and it held my attention enough to get through it but I can't honestly say I will find myself watching this one again. I honestly don't really know what kind of intense critisms I can give on this show all but like my honest opinions on how I felt about the show, Im not to good on going to much into depth on things cause I watch shows purely for the pleasure of watching my favorite actors and the stories that interest me. However if you are someone that loves shows with emotional acting, comedy given in a realistic form and romance that's not to much I would recommend it. The acting cast was really good for the roles provided, the music wasn't particularly my taste and the story was there but not fully there again to my taste.

(This is a review posted purely on my own opinions, reactions and comments on the show. if you are looking for more in depth writing.. I'm sorry but I'm not all that good at that. Just a simple personal opinion on the show that is all, I hope if you watch it though that you do enjoy it according to your own views as well ☺)

The Emotional Rollercoaster!!!

Okay so I want to start off by say this... This show gave me Emotional Trauma in literally the best way possible. It's 100% honestly one of, if not THE BEST Kdramas I have ever watched in all my life. The show held my attention so well, the emotions were on point, the acting was suburb and the story was just endless excitement for me. I've never cried so many times watching a show in my life, some part made my chest feel so tight and so many times I was just left with my mouth hanging wide open... ohhh my goddd!! 10 out of 10..like this show was just perfect to me. It's amazing that I just finished it and I want to rewatch it again... I literally never wanted it to end. I fully recommend this show to just about anyone.. it had a little bit of everything. Comedy, thrills, some spooky bits, romance and even just that good old fashion relationship drama that makes you want to just cry your eyes out. Ah I'm sad it's over... it was just an amazing show, just amazing. I will be rewatching this in the future for sure
