I really enjoyed this movie. Having been a fan of the Mulan Diseny movies as a kid, I reaally wanted to watch this.

The casting was exellent, as well as the acting, can't complain about it. The music played during th emovie was very moving and really enhances the feeling you get from watching a particular scene.
The story line is great, even though we all know it, however, having watched the Disney movie, I anticipated a happier ending than that, and was slightly disapointed, screaming in my head "It's NOT FAIR", but anyway, that would be the only thing I don't like about it.
Overall, the movie was fantastic and a must watch in my opinion, and I would easily re-watch this, to pay more attention on the details the second time around.

GREAT MOVIE!!

I just finished watching this drama, and I already miss it!
I can't believe how long it took me to finally decide to watch it! I should have seen it sooner! That is my only regret.
At first I was kind of sceptical about this drama, not knowing what to think of a horror and supernatural korean drama, thinking it wouldn't be as great as it appeared to be... I was so wrong. I could not have enjoyed it any more. It had everything, from good comedy to almost horror (I really got the creeps in some scenes) with a really touching (though frustrating at times) romance.

First, I absolutely loved the story : it had a mysterious overall plot that left you on your toes for most of the drama (more mysterious than I first thought), while also adding short plots that changed every episode, and they were interesting and greatly contributed to the progress between the two leads and were in no way unnecessary to the show. The romance in this show wasn't awkward at all, it was a proper fall in love over time and not at-first-sight kind of romance. It left much more room for the comedy and the mystery. I found myself really looking forward to the next episode, squirming with delight when something good happened, and it brought tears to my eyes when something sad happened. The good thing with this story is also that, you also create a connection with all the other characters, event the cameos (the short-plots), the show left plenty of room for the small roles to poke at our feelings and move us just as the leads do (or maybe I'm just an emotional wreck). Overall, this story had good progression, fulfilled it's duty to make us laugh, cry, dream, and also scare us (seriously, not kidding, they did a great job with those special effects, because I was affected ^^). Great plot!

When it comes to the acting, it was absolutely great! So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin had am-a-sing chemistry, I really want to see them in another drama together. The acting was very good, and I think this drama is underrated acting-wise (story-wise too), I think it deserved many more awards than it actually got. I really want to applaud Gong Hyo Jin and So Ji Sub, just excellent! I would not change anything about the cast!

For the music, I fell in love with a few songs, not all of them, but it was a pretty good OST, that I probably will still be humming in a few months time.

For the re-watch value... definitely! There would be less suspense, but the cute relationship and great comedy and story are worth every minute! I would definitely re-watch!

Overall, I highly recommend this drama, to anyone (though I'm sure not everybody would agree with me) and I am still kicking myself about not starting it sooner. So watch it now!

I just finished watching both vampire prosecutor series, and I have to say I absolutely LOVED them!!!
The story line for this one though, was much more interesting than the first one, which is quite something. They mixed the case solving with an overall story, which left you on the edge at the end of each episode.

The music is basically the same as in the first series, but with some modifications, but that doesn't mean it's not as good, it still carries the right feeling for this series. Music Perfect!

I gave a nine for the acting because it was sometime awkward, though it was rare, and the overall acting was very good and realistic.

The rewatch value for this series, I gave it a nine, because even though you wouldn't get tired of it even knowing the end, but it still loses som of it's impact, that's all. Otherwise I would definitely watch again.=D

The story line for this one was absolutely amasing, even during normal cases it still kept me guessing until the end. If I thought "Oh it must be him" the next second I found it actually wasn't, and I usually guess right in these dramas. Absolutely unpredictable. I sincerely applaud the writer for this.

The very last thing was the ending. It was a great ending, answered lots of questions you had, yet left some more. It concluded the series and left room for another. In my opinion, there must be a third season, they can't possibly leave us hanging like this, it's just too cruel, showing us something and then snatching the answer from us at the last second. I will curse the writer if there is no third season (just kidding, but definitely hate him ^^)

Anyway, this left a great impression on me, and I want more, more.
PLEEEEASE make a season three : I BEG OF YOU!!!!!!!!!

This was my second attempt at watching this show and I can't say it was a success, the first time I stopped around the second episode, and the second time I just couldn't stand watching it so I finished it by reading episode recaps. At first I was really excited about this drama and the general plot, what with it being a spy drama and I was expecting lots of action and suspense (with of course romance) but the drama wasn't really what I expected.

The Story : at the beginning it felt like it wasn't going anywhere, which is why the first time I tried watching this I stopped because it was making me feel uncomfortable what with the excessive comedy (which is not really my thing). But then since I really wanted to try watching it whole because the plot seemed so promising I started again.
I started getting interested during episode three, since the plot thickened. But around episode 8 to 10 I was relying more and more on recaps to relieve my frustration of the slow pace of this drama. It had unnecessary scenes that dragged on waaaay too long while only getting to the point at the very end of the scene (I just skipped forward). And not to mention the fact that the person watching knows very early on everything there is to know about the plot and just watches the characters scrambling around trying to find the answers, and you're basically yelling at them through your screen even though you perfectly know they can't hear you. From episode 10 I decided to finish the story with recaps, and could not be-lieve the turn out this drama had. I thought if the drama had a good ending I could probably be more motivated to watch it over, but NO! it convinced me I did not want to watch it ever again. As much as I love Joo Won and his adorable character, I could not bear the slow pace and unreasonable plot and ending.
Furthermore, Choi Kang Hee's character was annoying, I did not like her, and I could not feel any sympathy for her by the end of the drama, I couldn't stand her character. No offense to her specifically, but the way the character was painted just wasn't for me.
So overall the story was okay-ish, with a rather slow progression and barely any ups and downs (if any) and a very dissatisfying ending (for me at least).

The cast : the acting... was okay, though I don't know whether the awkwardness I felt was due to the actors's lack of chemistry or bad acting or a bad plot, or if it was meant to be that way, but I just didn't feel moved by the characters (either blame the acting or the plot, you choose). I don't know whether the acting was bad, though Joo Won's rendition of his character was cute at times (kind of stupid at others), I didn't feel very comfortable watching the couple, except for a few cute moments. I have a few issues with Choi Kang Hee, again not sure whether it's the acting or the character since I never saw her in any other drama. Overall the acting was okay, a few pluses but that's it. Didn't pay much attention to the rest of the cast.

The music : it was nice, not very moving either, didn't grab me in any way (maybe because I didn't watch to the end, I don't know), I didn't end up replaying it again and again after hearing it (which I usually do when I like it).

Rewatch value... you already know what I think, I wouldn't want to watch it again, I want to spare myself any more angst and frustration watching these characters go about in random directions.

Overall, a 6, as much as I would have liked to give it more, it is as high as I can go. I wouldn't recommend this unless you like cute rom-com that doesn't have much plot to it.

I cannot begin to describe how much I enjoyed this movie.
Although the story was slightly confusing at times, the overall feel of it is excellent. It's an original storyline that keeps you on your feet until the very last second of the movie, that was the best part. I won't spoil it for those of you who are considering watching, which I recommend to all those who love suspense and don't mind a bit of gore (this is a horror movie after all). I guarantee you can't guess the answer to the killings until the very end, it blew my mind, I so didn't see it coming.

I'd like to commend Lee Ki Woo and Park Ki Woong (especially) for the great acting. PKW played especially well the part of the mysterious boy, it was a gem! Some of the acting could've been better, but overall it was very good.

The music isn't very present in the movie, I don't think I even noticed it, I was too absorbed by what was going on, suppose that's a good sign (not for the music though).

Although rewatching this will spoil it since you already know the answer, it still worth it to catch all those signs you didn't see before that eventually led to the answer.

Overall, I strongly recommend this movie, especially to horror and suspense fanatics, and people who like a good mindf*** (sorry) =D

The Con Artists is one of those classic films of "Let's outsmart each other" kind of storyline. It's classic, easily interesting, but not something we haven't seen before.

First of all, the storyline is typical, not going to lie to you, you can easily find a similar one in another action movie. Despite that it still is an interesting movie. There is no romance overflow thankfully, as those kind of action movies tend to be a little bit too much "I love you, oh wait I don't, you're a criminal". Although there was a little bit of it, it was tasteful enough not to ruin the actual focus of the film : the action.
Where it is different from other films is the actual characters, their personality and their goals : all of this is more or less hidden from you until the end of the film, which is an aspect - albeit a little predictable for some - I appreciate. You kind of know where the story is going, but you don't (at least I didn't) see up to what extent it went.
Now I'll agree there is no character development, I don't think that was the point of the movie. What I think it wanted to show you was what they are, not what they have become, which is a nice change from other films where the protagonists go through their "Becoming a better person" phase.
So although the story is kinda classic, it is different enough to be set apart from the other, a tleast from my point of view.

For the cast, I probably wouldn't change anything. They all acted their roles out well, I really have nothing to pick at, it was pretty well acted out.

The music ... I don't know actually, I don't remember being that invested in the music, but more into the action. Is that a good thing? Perhaps it meant the story was so interesting you don't notice the music. Up to you, but I don't have anything to say about the music.

Overall, the movie is pretty good, I really liked how the story was told, how every single scene meant something in the end, they all have some sort of clue, hidden in the background. Not one scene is meaningless.
One thing I could pick at is the emotional depth of the movie. There wasn't really a moment where the movie grabbed you and really made you feel anything - except maybe awkwardness. And also, I find that Eun Ha's character wasn't really researched, nor was her backstory. I wish they had explained, or elaborated a bit more on her role in the story, but oh well. To me it seemed kind of ... shallow, not enough depth to the character or that aspect of the story. I suppose had they elaborated, the pang of emotion I was looking for could have been there, especially since it is intricately linked with the main story. A detail I regret.

As for rewatching it, I'm not too sure. Maybe, but I don't have the urge to rewatch and replay key scenes, or maybe just the scenes, but not the film itself. It was good, I really like it, but I don't love it.
