One of the greatest shows of all time
I almost didn't watch this show because of a few things.1. Dub. Yes, the whole show is dubbed by the original or other actors. I understand it's because the language is very rich, intricate, and subtle that everything needs to be clear, but at first it almost made me turn it off. I got used to it.
2. First few minutes I thought the setting was going to be in regional and mountain areas but 90% of the show takes place in the capital city of the empire.
3. The exaggerated martial arts. It's actually pretty nice and fun to watch but can take a while to get used to.
4. This is my first Chinese series. It had so many names and locations that at first was hard to keep up with but eventually it was easy.
Now that I got that out of the way:
The show's story is what sets it apart. Layers upon layers and very beautiful setups that make the show work. There's really not much more I can say without giving it away but if you want a nice story with a great plot, this is the show.
The actors and cast. Everyone was excellent and really complemented each other. They'll grow on you.
Overall, I loved the show and although it was 54 episodes, it didn't feel like it dragged on or felt too long or too short. It was just the right amount.
If you have doubts about watching, like I mentioned above, just watch a few more episodes. You'll see how good this show can be.

So moving and heartfelt
I went into this drama without knowing the cast, story, or any details, just that there's a moving company and there's an uncle that fights. That's it. I saw that this was the top rated show in MDL and decided to give it a go. I was not disappointed. The pacing of the show is great. It's 10 episodes and doesn't feel too short or too long. The acting was incredible. They chose the right cast for this. If you watch this show focused it will be difficult to not shed a tear or get choked up. Every move they chose and every story they told was done with great writing and acting by the supporting cast. I've got to say, this has become my top show and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

Overall good but it has its shortcomings
I will say that I enjoyed this drama. I thought the cast was great and so was the chemistry. FL and ML had great chemistry, along with the FL family and ML friends and dad.It has many funny moments too and I also liked the crime drama aspect of it. Even all the cringy moments, the puppy love stuff was good. The music was great too.
What I didn't like and what I think many people got tired of was the constant pushing the ML away. It got repetitive and tiresome and eventually made the drama seem like it dragged on too long . The last 4 episodes were of here pushing him away, trying for him not to remember, etc. I understand that she was trying to keep him safe but the way the went on about it was too much and I was already ready for it stop.
Again, I liked it and would recommend it to people. However, I will say that there could be stuff that they might not like but then again, since this drama is well loved, they might love it 100%.

A 'Shadow' of season 1
In Part 1 I was captivated and glued on to the episodes. They didn't feel like they dragged on even though they were long. However, Part 2's pacing was so slow. It felt like it dragged on and on. Then at the end it felt super rushed. Just 2 episodes to conclude every thing. It didn't feel like they thought it through enough. It should have been reversed. They should have rushed it in the beginning and moved at a slower pace towards the end.
But don't get me wrong, I did enjoy it overall, I just felt that it missed the charm of Part 1. It wasn't because the FL wasn't in there. It was just the overall direction and writing messed up this season.

The theme is important
This film has many layers but underneath it all there's one main central theme that people keep overlooking because all they talk about is the "twists" and change of events. The main theme is that this is a TRAGEDY.Once you see the last scene where you see laughs, smiles, an innocence that abounds in the lake countryside, this was a huge tragedy and once you see know how it ends you can't help but feel bad for them. I know everyone wants to talk about the turn in direction, or how they predicted or did not predict the outcome, above it all is how it ends.

Not perfect but good overall
The 16 episode format can be a blessing or a curse. I feel like when there's too much time, they tend to be repetitive or add information that doesn't need to be added. In one episode the couple had just made a big breakthrough. They were pulled over on the side of the road, crying, and they look like they've overcome the struggles and now she believes he's not a killer. Then the next episode she becomes suspicious again of him and the previous episode went to waste. She becomes suspicious to the point that it becomes annoying. Little things like that mess up the series and just takes away from the awesome moments that happened before.I really like this show. It's funny and emotional at times. I think there's moments that feel like cliches or bad writing, but that can be overlooked. Overall, they did a good job of doing this story and getting the cast to work well together.

Show feels different
When I completed the show it seemed obvious that the show took a different turn/s along the way from where they originally intended. Turns out somewhere after episode 4 they rewrote some things and changed certain things, mainly that they didn't like how the FL was. This is upsetting because it obviously the ML and FL were both going to develop into different characters like any drama has in character development, but I guess people wanted changes soon.
Overall, I enjoyed the show but upon hearing how they made changes because of fan's voices, it left a sour taste in my mouth. Yes, I know this happens all too much but the tone was just off and different, aside from the story changes. This felt unfinished or maybe rushed. Can't really explain it.
