You'll miss them once it's over

5 yrs ago, when this initially released, I wasn't sure if I wanted to watch it. 5 yrs later, on a Sunday evening, I randomly decided on this. Then the rest is history. Every day and night, I kept watching it, continuously for 5 days, 10 eps at a time. I.... I can't even express enough about how amazing, how magical, how delicious this journey was. I didn't just enjoy it, I RELISHED it. I'm a series watcher who hasn't read the novel yet, but I'm well aware of China's censorship on LGBTQ contents (unlike some reviewers who complained about the drama being not exactly the same). It was initially filmed without censor but some scenes were cut and left unreleased to the public after the censorship was bestowed. And I don't think we need anything more, it was subtly the most romantic BL series I've watched. I was OBSESSED with this series, my blood pressure was rising and falling repeatedly during the entire time. It's such a artfully curated series setting an example of how a subtle romance is far better. I didn't hate a single character, not even Jin Guangyao. It was THAT amazing when even the villain couldn't make me hate him. I'm watching dramas since the golden era of 2016 but even Goblin didn't give me the amount of happiness The Untamed did. It was such a rich and royal and delicious feeling, and I kept missing them after the completion of the drama. Truly a remarkable, sensational drama indeed.
