An Excellent Low Budget Filipino Series
This series has a lot going for it; including a beautiful setting, great editing, and nice cinematography; not to mention some great acting from most of the cast members; of which Rod Grande Corpuz, Cris Jay Cabides and Axl Romeo deserve particular mention for some great performances.
If I had to point to something that could be improved, I would say the length of the series; both in terms of each episode and the number of episodes; as the story seemed to be pressed for time there at the end (in episode 4). Given the fact that it was produced on such a small budget however; I think the writer / director of Beautiful Scars deserves a lot of praise for the success of the series; along with the young and obviously talented cast of actors.
