DO NOT WATCH!

I decided to watch On the Turf after seeing a review about it. As someone who’s into heavy themes, I thought it’d be right up my alley. I saw the low ratings but didn’t really care—heavy dramas and movies usually don’t get the best ratings anyway.

But damn, I was not ready for how fucking stupid this show was. I couldn’t even sit through it without skipping parts. The pacing was a mess, the dialogue sucked and DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE ACTING. For a show that’s supposed to be deep, it was shallow as hell.

Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this shit to anyone. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it just didn’t. If you’re looking for something with actual depth, save yourself the time and skip this one.
