For me a little bit missing link in your script is Jun-ho figure. It will be very helpful if you make a scene background of childhood Jun-ho, who was a kindhearted boy, for instance began with his relationship with handicap animals, maybe cats or dogs? Which in his previous experiences the extraordinary behavior of these handicap animals didn't bother him at all, even attractive or made him extra take care or love them.
Then it's not too "jumped" to an adult Ji Ho who fall in love with Woo, for she with extraordinary behavior which did not happen in ordinary life...

Unsatisfied with Making Love Scene

*Something in the Rain*

I watched this drama for more than 3 times. Flowing with the smoothly, lovely sequences, feels the warmth of falling in love. Capturing small things & gestures are the best attempt to make this drama succesfully builds up senses of love on screen. Excellent!

The courageous to inform that having sex before marriage in Korean society as common is highly admired. But unfortunately this part of scene are too bland & unelaborated. It looks like Kim Eun or Pan Seok suddenly hesitant to explore this part as well as before. I expect seeing how they stare eye to eye, physically caressed each other, gently kissing hair/nose/shoulder/neck, just to show how's Jun-hui deeply & madly fall in love with Jin-a's charm & vice versa. This love making scene must be become the peak of their inside feeling which already succeed built up on screen previously. Trying to procceed slight libido on screen will be great, and also avoiding impression that having sex is just only as an epiphenomenon of love.

Yes, too short ending, of course. Also Jun-hui's changing his mind only by suddenly hearing Jin-a's recorded voice is rather unlogic. But I still love your work. Lovely!

Film Terbaik Korea Klasik

Film klasik Korea terbaik yang saya tonton setelah "Jewel in the Palace" (yang kelemahannya tidak berhasil menciptakan romantika pada pasangan tokohnya), yang pada "Faith" tercipta dengan baik sekali. "Faith" adalah sebuah karya besar yang saya heran mengapa tidak meraih box office? Keseluruhan film terjalin menjadi rasional- yang agak sulit karena dibangun dari ketidakrasionalan lintas waktu- yang menjadikannya logis, sangat indah, sangat menyentuh, pasti karena kerja keras orang2 di belakangnya, terutama sutradara Kim Jong Hak & penulis naskahnya song Ji-Na. Perpaduan keduanya menghasilkan keutuhan film yang begitu memukau. Indah sekali!

Simpati mendalam setelah mengetahui bahwa Kim Jong Hak, sutradara hebat, mengakhiri hidupnya setahun setelah meluncurkan karya besar ini, dengan begitu banyak pertanyaan: apa sebab? Mengapa tidak seorang pun yang membantunya mengatasi masalahnya saat itu? Korea kehilangan sutradara besar yang mampu merangkai kisah dengan logis namun juga penuh dengan detail pendukung dengan begitu peka & indah.

Saya pikir dengan ketiadaan Kim Jong Hak, Song Ji-Na kehilangan partner untuk menghasilkan film sebaik ini.
