This is an accuate portrayal of a person with a debilitating disease and the caregivers

I am not sure my words would do justice as to how astounding this series is due to the efforts of the entire cast involved. Lin Yi was simply amazing in this role, as it is so challenging, since it is such a debilitating disease. He was true to it's form of wasting away in stages, which is extremely hard to act as such on its own, but to be filming at different times, if it is out of chronological order, is even more exceptional for the continuity of the story. I watched him in Derailment, and explored his works further, as he is an outstanding and phenomenal actor, who has literally poured his heart and soul into this character. There are just some stories that touch your very heart ❤️ and this is one of them. I have experienced this debilitating disease in my family, along with so many others. Each disease robs you of a full life, but, just like her decision, you can live an entire lifetime in just a few moments, if you have the courage, faith, strength, and desire to be there for each other. Not all people are built for the times of suffering and sickness. It's not for the feint of heart. You have to forgive those who can only handle the happy times. Not everyone is capable of the trials faced with long term care debilitating diseases, robbing you of life, with the wasting away of your body and faculties. For those who can face it together, it is still not an easy journey. The caregiver is weary at times, and the family member is remorseful, or even regretful, of the burden caused by degenerative diseases. When you can see past that, to the beauty of time and conversation, the treasures that will last a lifetime as a legacy of comfort to those left behind, only then can you celebrate every day as a victory that you won over each battle, as it robs you of your dignity and freedom. Each day is a blessing more than a curse. Time is the greatest gift with love. He was struggling with his reality and wanted to not lose anymore of his abilities, as well as not be a burden, releasing them both from this prison sentence. But he could not see that he had so much more to live for, with the help of his friend and technology. He could still be contributing to society, which is something important to a person who is aware while dying a little bit every day. In this story, he has a terminal disease to humble his father, who believed he was a savior but neglected his family, as they paid the price with his absence and overbearing attitudes. His mother was unable to achieve a happy marriage and be the best mother or coworker until she met a challenge they both could not win. Once the father accepted the change in his thinking, she was able to fix her family with him. What once was chaos and dysfunctional, melted away into an understanding and growth of a family torn apart. As much as the disease was a curse, it was what they needed most to heal for each other. Don't push the ones you love away. Xaio Que lost 6 months of time with Xaio Tao as well. She was blindsided by missing the beginning of his demise. But, if she had not lost him, only to find him again, could she have made the decision that caring for him and being by his side was better than life without him? There were so many wrong decisions, with no right answers, as he stated. But, he robbed her of her choice. I am not sure if she would have had the capacity to follow him all the way through it all, facing every challenge and setback, if she had not lost him once to begin with. This was why she could see him through to the end. Because she had been there before, and chose to be there for him as she loses him again. This way, she went through every stage with him, knowing that the disease robbed her of him, not his decisions robbing her of time with him. Abandonment can be even more cruel than the disease itself. I am glad they ended the story where they did. But, after his demise, I hope he would have asked Senior to be with her and care for her, after he is gone. He could trust his friend to keep her well and safe, after he was gone. That is my only wish after this story ends. I have been the caregiver 7 times. I have outlived so many people. Although they were not all ALS patients, the results are the same. It's not for everybody. Forgive rather than hate. None of my family did what I did, and that's OK. But I was so close to my family that I did take care of while we had the time. Don't waste time on hatred, anger, or resentment. It robs you of precious energy and consumes your thoughts so you miss so much. Accept others and their limitations. You are much better when you know they are not forced to do what they are not capable of doing.

Richard Li, Li Fei, was wonderful and you will want to watch it over and over again...

This was a wonderful show, full of mystery, sabotage, feuds, and treason. A true fight to the death to overthrow the heirs of the throne. It was masterfully manipulated by Na Jin Ci, played by Richard Li, who kept us guessing if he was friend or foe, good or bad, loving or contemptuous. It is a must see, as the acting is well deserving of accolades and awards. The chemistry was palpable, as their passionate love / hate relationship was give / take all throughout the series. With plot twists and plans of revenge from their ruthless personalities clashing with each other, their love triangle was wreaking havoc and creating turmoil, as they fought desperately to survive each new feud or challenge faced. In the end, fate delt its final blows, and we find peace with our heroes efforts to right what was wrong, saving the country from peril and future uncertainty. All 5 leading characters were fantastic, Li Fei ( Richard Li ), He Xuan Lin, Wang Xing Wei, Ai Hong Chen, and Luo Yu Tian were a great team of actors working well together to make this series a success. You will not be disappointed, but you will want to watch this over and over again.

Song Kang has come a long way

Song Kang was in My Demon recently, so I thought I would check out some of his other masterpieces. I chuckled and laughed during this movie. It's quaint. I think m it could have had much more depth and potential if the writing and directing was better. It was extremely low budget, which can be a plus, to let acting shine through. He may have only been 22 or 23 when this was filmed. He was very good in the kissing scenes, and when he was lamenting about being an outcast in his life, relating to her predicament. He has improved greatly since in the 6 years he has neen acting. It's just fun to see the changes. His intermittent English was pretty good as well, endearing us to him even more.

Watch it more than once to catch it all...

This was an amazing show with such dynamic characters that we immediately fall in love with them all due to their quirky natures, but everyone meshes so well together that you accept them as a big family, even the friends. Such a whimsical and endearing story of a terminal illness, that is comical rather than tear-jerking, as we are all along for the unorthodox ride through misery that, instead of making us sad, keeps us laughing and rooting for Doom to punish the bad, yet quizzically wondering why he picks on the good as well, out of spite and opportunity. In the beginning, he has a flippant, no care in the world attitude as he meanders around the world, leave a swath of chaos in his path. He has his ruthless moments when the worst of the worst cross his radar, punishing them as they "stepped on his toes", challenging his very existence with competition he sees as a threat to his occupation.

She steps into the picture, a product of life's mishaps with a lifetime of misery under her belt, taking it all in stride about her new timeline and diagnosis of a terminal illness. Not a customary reaction to any catastrophe in life, as she just continues to face her daily challenges without skipping a beat, much to the shock of those around her. She is so used to taking care of otgers she leaves herself out of the equasion of life she faces every day. She just lets it finally sink in when she is alone, but acts like it is just another mild punch from life, until the night sets in. When she was inebriated, she found herself stumbling outside, isolated on her desolate rooftop with only the ability to face her biggest obstacle threatening her very existence, she then proceeds to make a desperate plea of revenge to the heavens to release her pent up frustrations, never expecting a response in return. 2 minds converge on the same idea, one desperately wanting the end of the world, and the other, desperately yearning for relief from 1 more challenge in life that will cut her off far too young from all her dreams and aspirations she thought she could pursue later. Thus starts a whirlwind growth for 2 vastly different lost souls to find growth and adapt to each other's quirks, finding acceptance after anger, eventually seeing through each other into their hearts, finding a love so scarce with so little time as they race the clock of fate, finding their destiny amongst the trials of the world to eventually meet in the middle.

This is an inquisitive story. How does a tourist get up there?

I am interested in finding out just how the Dr. becomes a tourist to the ISS in the first place. Secondly, why that professional field? They would have so much more to work with if they had made made him a Trauma Surgeon. Could you imagine an appendix surgery in space? His sterile field would be a nightmare of hysterics. Just pulling a scalpel out of the air would have us laughing. What is he going to treat in space? A UTI? I am only questioning the story.
I am excited to watch Lee Min Ho, whatever the excuse is, up in space, as he is a good actor and will bring a fantastic show to us.
