A True Masterpiece!
This is the first time I truly feel a BL series deserves a 10/10. I Told Sunset About You is not just a BL series... this is a fantastic coming of age drama that happens to deal with LGBTQ+. The story is very impactful and well written about adolescents struggling to discover themselves and their sexuality. The cinematography is beautifully done, being filmed in Phuket's different locations that I would love to visit myself one day if I visit Thailand. After seeing the Documentary episodes, big kudos to the director for making sure each scene brings out the right emotion and feeling. Best director by far out of the many series I have seen. The acting was really amazing from BKPP and all of the cast! BKPP is a one of a kind pairing with great chemistry. They are now one of my favorites, along with OffGun and MewGulf. I cannot recommend watching this series enough, it was an absolute delight and emotional roller coaster.Everything 10/10 (would give it 100/100 if I could)

An Entertaining BL Overall
I did enjoy Cutie Pie over other BLs that aired this season. It was definitely one of the quality series with a high budget, but story-wise it did have it’s flaws. I don’t mind miscommunication in a series for some added drama, but if the plot dwells on it too much throughout the series it gets frustrating to watch. For the pairings I have to say the big age gap (9 years) does show for ZeeNew. I can’t lie and say that Nunew doesn’t look too young for Zee because he does imo. But Zee in the end is amazing at being able to make whoever his ship is work out pretty well. MaxNat… As handsome as Max is and adorable Nat is I still don’t feel this ship so much. Nat’s acting is still so so to me. MaxNat also have a 9 year age gap like ZeeNew but somehow you feel a bit uncomfortable watching their intimate scenes because Nat is 19 and pretty baby-faced. Love them though! I absolutely fell for NuerSyn and hope TutorYim get a series of their own asap!
Negatives aside the OST was fantastic! The music was the best part that made the series the most fun to watch for me. Nunew has such a beautiful voice and is an amazing singer. I loved the parts when Kirin performs. Pretty much every sing OST for Cutie Pie was great. He also did a great job with his acting for his first BL drama. This was definitely a start for Nunew and definitely looking forward to seeing more from him.
I do have to say Domundi/Mandee does produce quality dramas compared to other productions. I look forward to Middleman’s Love and Bed Friend next!

A BL Webtoon That’s Perfectly Adapted!
Semantic Error is already a great webtoon and this production did an amazing job adapting it. Park Seo Ham and Park Jae Chan were the perfect main leads to play Jang Jae Young and Chu Sang Woo. They delivered a great performance and made it feel like I was seeing the original characters come to life. This live action of Semantic Error was done absolutely well from casting, directing, cinematography, to OST.S. Korea has definitely made another great BL series along with Light on Me and To My Star as some of my personal favorites. I definitely hope WATCHA will produce another season later on because they really produce quality series, including Light on Me. Hopefully they will give us full length series because 8 episodes was not enough! S. Korea has the potential to lead the Bl industry if they are able to bring in the budget and production they do for their mainstream series.

I like how the first half of this series is Third’s POV, which is a bit frustrating to watch. Then the second half is Gun’s, where it gets more enjoyable to watch. The acting definitely gets a 10/10 from me. Gun is a really good actor who gave a lot of emotion to the series. The OST is also great! Fake Protagonist is such a fitting song for KhaiThird’s relationship and I never skipped the ending song. Overall I enjoyed this series a lot and wish there could be a season 2.

An Absolute Delight to Watch!
When I first heard Light on Me is based on a BL dating simulation game I was skeptical whether this would be good or not. This series completely exceeded my expectations. The 4 MCs are all lovable and adorable that went through great character development. I overall feel Lee So Hee was not really needed to be inserted in the story, but she did add in the drama and developed well as a character as well towards the end. The writers did an amazing job with the story-telling. It was difficult to tell who Taekyung’s end game was until the very last episode.Overall this story was a delight to watch and conveyed great messages of:
- not being afraid of who you are
- having the the right friends around you
- normalizing homosexuality
- owning up to your mistakes
Light on me was consistently good from beginning to end and even became highly addicting to watch. Kang Youseok has stolen my heart with his acting <3 This drama was overall a nice, feel-good series. Absolutely loved it, definitely one of my top favorite BL dramas I hope gets another season if possible.

However this live adaption was very enjoyable to watch from beginning to end! Xiao Zhan made Wei Ying such a lovable character. Yibo did a great job as Lan Zhan as well. I am a fan and love the donghua and novel of Mo Dao Zu Shi and this live action did the series justice. Even if it was subtle bromance you can still see that they love and care for each other a lot.
Great Cast
Great Acting
Great OST
10/10 Overall!!
