Never Ending Jaw Drops
I'll start of by saying that the most impressive thing that I love about this is the CGI, the amount of work they must have put in is incredible and it really paid of. The lightning, the other magical aspects all look so REAL and beautiful; I can't even explain in words how impressed I am. So if you're a fan of the magic aspect of dramas then please have no second guesses and just jump straight in.CHARACTERS/ACTING:
The characters and acting were on point. The casting crew truly once again fitted the actors amazingly to the role and so did the actors themselves. To the outfits, hair and makeup everyone truly came out as a masterpiece.
The acting as well, I adored the serious but comedy side of each person and how they made even the most serious emotions so enjoyable to watch.
I have to say I am truly in love with baobao... the girl is a badass and a whole mood.
STORYLINE/PLOT:
I AM IN LOVE WITH THE NON STOP MYSTERY AND TWISTS, with the constant questions to the magic and action fights every episode, they really manage to put out something new every time and I can tell you my jaw dropped constantly. Once again the comedy side was one of the main reasons I could keep going, just like a fresh gust of wind to the face which kept it refreshing.
The modern twists to the traditional side made me chuckle too, it's such a strange sight to see a Taoist just casually sitting with those colourful sneakers and an iPad in his hands but still being in the older style robe ?
loved it
Also what is the writers love of characters constantly losing limbs? Istg someone lost at least an arm every episode (°д°) was hilarious at times though haha
One thing I would like to learn more about though is Chulan before he went into the outsider world, like what happened to him going to uni? Did he drop out? Was he still going or did he just ditch? Like what happened, did he even have any friends that were like wtf did he go? Like he just kind of vanished from it apart from the slight mention in the last episode.
It isn't a huge hole in the plot or anything but more of a personal thought that I had for a majority of the time I was watching.
OVERALL STAND POINT:
Overall, I had a BLAST with this drama, you can truly not get bored with the constant bombs of story and lore being thrown at you not to mention the ending had me sobbing buckets but laughing in joy at the same time which is rare. I do have to say it gets confusing at times with just how much story and background there is, and if you miss a bit then it can go into a bit of a twist to understand; but if you follow closely and don't randomly skip parts then it isn't too much of an issue.
Will be waiting for a possible 2nd part for sure... ?

Rain that Dried Out
To be frank, I must admit that as the story progressed it just got worse. The beginning of the story was refreshing, and the storyline intrigued me, particularly the concept of two soulmates losing their hearing during rainfall, leaving them only able to hear each other. It's quite an endearing concept. The idea of having someone to communicate with on gloomy days and eventually meeting that person sounds incredibly wholesome. I still love this aspect of the story, but I have to confess that towards the end, when they started tampering with this unique element, causing it to disappear and involving Lomfon in all the confusion, it really irritated me. Why did they have to portray him as such a villain?I absolutely adore Saengtai as a character. He's a loving individual who consistently tries his best, despite having certain traumas that may influence his judgment. This remains evident throughout the drama. His brother, Saengthian, is also a character I adored. He's a pure cutie pie, and the way he protects and wishes the best for Tai was just so heartwarming and had me melting.
I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of Phat though, and this sentiment became even stronger when the climax of the drama unfolded. The way he handled things and communicated with Tai seemed selfish and self-centered, a stark departure from his previous character just a few minutes ago. Moreover, simply disappearing and cutting off contact due to a simple misunderstanding infuriated me. I understand that such misunderstandings are common in these types of dramas, but what happened to resolving issues through communication? It felt like a sudden and out-of-place breakup, especially considering how happy and supportive they were in the previous episode. Really said 'who she? cause I don't know her.' It left me genuinely shocked in the worst way possible.
Despite these setbacks, the acting in the drama was outstanding. The emotions conveyed through the actors' eyes truly immerse you in the story. The quality of the filming was also breathtaking as well, especially when it comes to the settings in which the scenes were shot at.
Overall, if we set aside the unnecessary drama and sudden plot twists, I did enjoy the drama. The concept was unique, and the actors delivered remarkable performances in their respective roles. The message of the drama, emphasizing the idea of loving and being with the one you truly love, rather than conforming to the universe's idea of a perfect match, was both sweet and on-point as well. Love can take various forms, and this message was well-conveyed.
If they ruin the relationship between Thian and Lomfon with that ending though.... the rain will become a river which I will then drown the screenwriter in. :D

Childhood Nostalgia
This is my first review so please bare with me if there are any mistakes etc etc...Cast/Acting:
In terms of characters I think this is one of the BEST dramas I have ever seen with people that represent their character so perfectly, not to mention the dedication to fit as well. Their acting and emotions all looked real and no one seemed out of place either. It was very interesting to see the diversity in them as well in terms of characters and the addition of a mentally handicapped too.
The relationship between Bongseok and Heesoo mainly stuck out to me, I couldn't get enough of their contrasting personalities and just their overall cuteness of constant support and worry for each other.
Storyline/Filming:
I adored the storyline overall although I did start to become a little bored when they got into the parent's back stories, however I do have to say that I was not expecting such clear character links which blew me away, it all connected so perfectly as if it was some puzzle piece. The action and fight scenes were extremely clean too, big props to the film and editing team 100%. I seriously haven't seen a drama which makes the flying look so clean and realisitic(ngl I wish I could glide like that o:).
I think the thing I loved most is the old hero movie vibe that I got from this especially in the last two episodes, it really reminded me of all those childhood superhero shows and movies I used to love and how everyone comes together to help each other; in general just wholesome to the max.
don't forget...

A little stretched but ADORED
Starting of, the casting was perfect. the chemistry and skills of both Wooseok and Hyeyoon was top teir not to mention all the other actors, the production team rly nailed it on the spot. (BTS are adorable ?)Overall I personally adored the storyline, the dive into it was smooth and had my heart running at a million miles for the both leads, but they still as always were able to keep it light and comedical at the same time to keep it from being a total emotional mess. (I did cry a bit still though ?♀️?
Many say that they went back and forth a little too much, But I personally think it's what kept the tension going and had you high on your toes – was quite exciting as you had no clue what to expect ? but I do see how the repetitiveness could bore some people.
The music too.. LOVE LOVE LOVE the osts, really match the vibe, not to mention they just had to turn them on at the most emotional of times ???
SO all in all I have no complaints, truly an amazing cast and the execution of all the story and how it flows I think was perfect. It made sense – you get to see amazing and adorable scenes from both the leads and support characters too, which I also think had such incredible chemistry. Truly no misses.
