This movie will go down as one of the greatest movies I’ve ever watched
The message “don’t give up” could never be more important to me then at this moment. This movie was really so well written and impactful. It was so wonderful to see a character struggle with such realistic, overwhelming and hopeless situations and not give up. This movie has such an important message, to have a person chose to not give up and turn himself in is such a difficult decision one can make.I am at a really hard point in my life and I have so many problems that I need to fix and it is so hard not to give up. Because of that I don’t think it is likely that I will watch any other movie that will touch me as personally as this one did.

What a beautiful movie
This movie reminded me so much of the fairytales I read as a kid. This is the first Chinese musical I’ve watched (unless we include Mulan which I feel like shouldn’t really count because it was made by white Americans) so I wasn’t used style of singing, but it was beautiful. The scenery in it is incredibly beautiful as well. I don’t know what ethnic minority the main characters in this are a part of but their traditional clothing is very pretty. It’s a shame so few people have seen this movie…Was this review helpful to you?

This drama was good but it felt kind of empty
So I just finished this drama last night and I kind of have mixed feelings, because I really like the cast and the story but there’s a few things I wasn’t really a big fan of.For example the implied ending. I didn’t really like the implication that there’s gonna be some sort of repeat of everything that we just saw.
It’s like even if the main girls might be able to stop the game before it starts this time because of all that’s happened before, it still makes me think—what was the point of all of this if it’s gonna end from the start you know?
And I think the feeling of emptiness I got from it comes from the fact that— despite there not being many moments when I felt bored— not much happened throughout all 10 episodes. I think I wish there was more episodes with more stuff happening. I’ve become exhausted with these short season dramas and tv shows.
Anyways yeah that’s it.
Good but kind of lacking in some ways.

GODDAMN IS THIS GOOD.
I get how some people could find this kind of slow or even repetitive at parts, because there was a lot of flashbacks that were of the same events just from different povs, but I really enjoyed that. I loved the way the flashbacks were woven within the rest of the plot and how they added to the mystery of just exactly what is going on. And my god don’t even get me started on the cinematography, it was so good. In the moments that people probably thought were kind of boring I found myself just sitting there, admiring the cinematography. And the acting oh my GOD was it incredible. This is really a great drama. I feel like it might fly under the radar a bit just because of how K-dramas fans are nowadays, but hopefully it will get more attention because Lee Dongwook is in it.Was this review helpful to you?
Really great story and acting!!
This was such an amazing drama!!! The actor that played Ji Cheong Shin was crazy good! I hope he gets a lot more rolls in the future because of his great acting in this show. The acting in this show as a whole from all of the actors was top notch. Every emotional part made me cry and hit me just as hard as the writer probably intended for. Personally I was happy with the non-cliffhanger ending. Although it was kind of lackluster I enjoyed how it didn’t leave me emotionally stressed lol. The whole fighting sequence at the end was so satisfying and made me fangirl so much over the characters lol! 10/10 show. I think this drama had just the right amount of comedy, action, and emotion. I really suggest this to anyone, it is a great watch!Was this review helpful to you?
