Wow. Just, wow. If you are into kpop even just a little bit, this drama is definitely for you. They hit on every single scandal the YG company has ever had and they do NOT hold back. Literally laugh out loud funny. If you are not into the kpop scene, it's still going to be a fun watch for you. The office politics are ridiculous whether you get the jokes behind them or not... and who knows, you might find a new love for the music you hear in your favourite drama soundtracks.

Don't let the name fool you, this is not a Kdrama remake of the classic American holiday film by the same name. A cast full of fresh faced models who would go on to have pretty significant drama careers, this drama is dark and not an easy watch. It is well worth watching though. We think it feels more like a Jdrama in many ways. The story has a lot of dark themes and the characters struggle with death and suicide so if those things are triggering for you, you might want to consider staying away or watching it with a friend for support.

If you're looking for something different than Jisoo's usual tragic broken puppy role, this is the drama special for you. While Jisoo's character does suffer a tragedy that ends his sports dreams, his character is an upbeat optimist who works hard for the things he wants and looks for a new dream to pursue. The drama has some of the usual drama tropes; over-bearing parents, competitive classmates, etc... but overall it feels fresh and sweet. There was definitely more story to be told about these characters and we would have been more than happy to watch an 8-12 episode drama delving more deeply into their lives.

3/4 of the Noonas completed this drama. Amanda dropped it over concerns with the way they were portraying the disability of the male lead and where they seemed to be headed with that. While her concerns were not entirely realized, they were not unfounded either. The drama was over all quite cute but had many minor plots that were alluded to and then discarded, and the handling of the disability was definitely not done well. The three Noonas who completed the drama enjoyed it, but had thoughts and feelings over a less than fully satisfactory ending. You can check out our thoughts in more detail in our spoiler laden podcast episode.
