Did Not Feel Right and Justified For Me
I was highly anticipating s2 and I'm immensely disappointed. It's really hard for me to express how this 2nd installment failed to meet my expectations without giving a spoiler and I'll try really hard! ?Anyways, before I watched s2, I re-watched s1 4x! The emotions invoked from me as a viewer was intense (prolly the same feeling most viewers like me felt- giddy and butterflies all over) and I think I felt so disappointed because it didn't match the same feeling the moment I started watchin' ep 1 of s2.
I skipped most parts. The only thing I enjoyed was the ending between Min-Si and Duk-gu. She was selfish and narcissistic but there are people like that. The most important thing was she recognized her true self. I think the end was just as she deserved.
Prolly, Hye-yeong deserved Kim Jojo because he patiently waited for her to become honest about her true feelings but Sun-Oh gave her true and passionate love if she could have just given him a chance! She was so engrossed with all her insecurities and that's what I hated about her character even from the start. She was loved but she just don't know how to reciprocate it.
It could have a better ending and a twist.

Perfection!
I didn't have high expectations of this drama at all. I just had an instinct this would be really good because it's Shin Min-ah after all.It is slow paced and melancholic and I love it just the way it was. Watching these kind of dramas makes you feel you are journeying with the characters and not just watching them. You feel every kind of emotion they invoke.
I never really noticed the soundtrack because I am so engrossed with their lines and acting. This is one drama I never skipped a second even once. I've seen hundreds of dramas now and even top grossing ones sometimes would have scenes that are repetitive or frustrating you just want to skip it but in this flick, I want to savor each and every scene. Even the flashbacks, are not tiresome, you actually wanted to re-watch it.
The last episode was amazing! The first few minutes will give you sad vibes feeling this will have a tragic ending. When Ma-rin's dad made the sacrifice, you'll feel really blue but then a few minutes after that you'll laugh out loud because they'll be talking about sperms the next scene.
Jee-hon and Min-ah's chemistry is perfect! ?

Eerily Entertaining
This is not for the faint hearted and those who have a weak stomach for gore. I found myself dieting for some reason while watching thru the 10 episodes. I can't seem to swallow food thinking about the carmine scenes you'd always see on most episodes. The insanity and how each actor meticulously portray their characters are superb, you'll hate and get scared of them to the core. I love the soundtrack, it gets stuck in your head making you consciously become aware about possible scary things around you, just like what any successful horror flick does to you when it's really a hit.Was this review helpful to you?
Crime Drama Slayer
I was never a big fan of crime dramas because I find it too stressful to watch. However, the first 15 minutes of episode 1, will already have you at the edge of your seats.I cried on the first episode already because the acting was soo good, I felt as violent, oppressed and scared as the victims.
The non-chalant way and expression the villain had was superb, you'll hate him to the core immediately.
The 4th episode, was heart wrenching and the ending was the best cliff hanger. If in the last episodes, you already had the impression or idea who you think the real culprits are, you will start questioning your judgment because the ending on the 4th episode will make you doubt each character. I can't wait for the next episode and this is one of the best dramas of Lee Seung Gi!
Episode 5 is traumatic! You'll cry buckets of tears because of Lee Hee-Joon's (Ko Moo-Chi) acting! I admire him, that was magnificent! I had to pause watching the next episode because I felt I had to emotionally prepare myself for the next unfortunate event.
I haven't rated it a 10 yet because I'm not sure if I would like the ending, however I really like how the story unfolds as of the moment. No annoying unnecessary flashbacks! Just pure entertainment all the way.

Unique and Tremendously Entertaining
Not Your Usual Crime DramaI didn't watch this flick right away because the first scenes supposedly shot in Italy were the only scenes I found interesting and entertaining on Episode 1. I saw funny memes about Song Joong-ki and Oc Taecyeon on social media and thus made me binged watched the 12 episodes over the weekend.
Halfway of 2nd Episode was the turning point for me! The over the top funny gestures, facial expressions and sarcastic and wise cracking lines was just unexpectedly entertaining!
Episode 6 and 8 was just super hilarious! Those are my most favorite episodes so far.
In the first few episodes Oc Taecyon as an antagonist was so charming and cute but a little scary at the same time. On Episode 10, his character started to become horrendous, it's hard to see him adorable anymore.
What I love about Vincenzo is that you don't need to wait for several episodes to get revenge or justice. It gives you satisfaction to at least feel a little bit of balance between good and evil every episode so it doesn't get too frustrating or tedious for all things good to be in place.
I love how tacky the jokes and funny scenes are sometimes but it's creatively and expertly acted out, it doesn't come off that way. Sooo amusing!
I can't wait for the next installment!
