so many side stories they couldn’t fit the ending
You could tell the editing and proper sequence of stories was lacking. Some of the scenes should’ve been omitted while others, like the MAIN STORYLINE, should’ve had more scenes and flashbacks.
There was too much to fit into 40 episodes and for the audience to remember all the sub-plots. The past was too briefly explained and I didn’t really feel what was the point in bringing the demons to this dimension. In fact, throughout the series they kept referencing how badly they wanted to return home, but why come in the first place?
I’m guessing the budget was heavily invested in the CGI rather than telling the story well. The acting was good, mostly.
